The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, was featured earlier today on Israel National TV, where he spoke against his arrest, incarceration and issues with the federal government.

The IPOB leader also spoke on the group's demand which is freedom and breakaway from the country Nigeria.

Meanwhile, Nnamdi Kanu said the Nigerian government spurned the demands he made after he was released from prison over a year ago.

“I told them, that I want them to open Igweocha seaport, Port Harcourt,” Nnamdi Kanu, who leads the Indigenous People of Biafra, said in a message posted to Radio Biafra’s Facebook page on Sunday.

“I ask them to open Calabar seaport and Warri Seaport, I did this in writing and gave it to them, I told them to dredge River Niger, allow the direct international flight to Europe and USA from Enugu, Igweocha and Calabar airport.”

Kanu said he also demanded the release of former Nigerian security adviser Sambo Dasuki and the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria Ibrahim El-Zakzaky and the investigation of “the mass murder of IPOB family members at Onitcha, Nkpor, Aba, Enugu, Igweocha, Umahia and Asaba.”

Yes I understand you, we should not follow him. Perhaps we should follow Ohaneze that runs to Abuja to collect their Ghana must go loaded with hard currency. Like him or hate him he has come to stay. its all about lagos. I have never been to anywhere in the west apart from lagos. I live in enugu...my whole family lives in enugu. We come to lagos because of sea port and air ports. These are fg responsibilities. I have never seen an igbo man based in oyo state. Lagos was capital for 76 years 1914-1990. Abj has only been capital for 28 years. With time lagos will lose its influence to ph and abj....and with the many anti-igbo rhetorics we hear these days about lagos, it will soon be like ibadan

Think about it. If Israel decides to wade into this affair, there is no other credible entity than Kanu they would consult with. Kanu has identified with Israel and Judaism right from the start. Can you say same about Ohaneze, whose membership are mostly out looking for government patronage? You can't trust such a group.

Since it cannot be a one man show, Israel will have to depend on whatever group Kanu can vouch for as credible. As it is, Kanu wields more influence and street creds than a dozen Ohaneze group combined. That's the sad truth.

The Nigerian Government don't want the Igbos to progress. No International airport in Onitsha or Aba.

If only the Ohaneze Ndigbo, MASSOB, IPOB, south East governors, senators can work together...In less than 2 years, Biafra would be a reality. Nnamdi Kanu can't pull this off all alone.

For you to be reasoning in this direction at this particular stage by doubting the efficiencies and capabilities of the Lion king of Biafra, the man who single handedly sank the zoo(the all mighty giant of Africa) is clear indication that you don't know anything in reality.

The Igbos are (arguably) the most nationalised tribe in Nigeria. Some claim (rather laughably) that they try to dominate any location they move to. I'm not sure what that means but what I have come to understand is that this sentiment is the outcome of the continuous reinforcement of ideas sold to the host communities by a handful of aggrieved individuals and it has now become a pandemic.

I know for sure that an Igbo man is more interested in profitable commerce than tribal or religious affiliation (otherwise he won't even leave the confines of his environment in the first place) but this current wave of attacks has led to what has been happening in the last few decades.

Some folks who think themselves intelligent argue matters based in black and white, but fail to understand that things are not always in black and white; there is that grey area (shrouded in diplomatic innuendos) which many are ignorant of.

The issues Nnamdi Kanu raised are not unknown to the powers that be, but are akin to a localised economic embargo placed on a region. The SE/SS are seen as core Biafra zones (those of us still living in denial should better recognize that fact). If allowed the "benefit" of economic structures and amenities might become too powerful to control so force them to spread thin, since the average Igbo man is an explorer.

Some of you here blabbing about what you know next to nothing about, not all Igbos are IPOB (fact) but ALL Igbos seek an identity. Do not equate the activities of a group of greedy and self-enriching stooges of the caliphate masking as Igbo leaders to what a sovereign Igbo nation will be like.

Before you type your next sentence on this topic, take a moment to ask yourself...

WHAT AM I REALLY AFRAID OF?

The truth?
A man's bluntness and superior knowledge?
The possibility of losing control?
