the guy s a decent defender that can make the super eagles thicker at the back but his dream of breaking into the german setup is a tall one when you consider the array of talents have in the central defence position. young stars like jonathan tah(leverkusen),sule(bayern) and rudiger(chelsea) just to mention a few are miles better then him. also players like boateng, mustafi and hummels still have 2-3 years more in the german team. he may be capped and used in couple of friendly games but i don't see him having a fullfilling international career with the germans. sentiment aside the super eagles is the best bet for him. even in the german football circle torunarigha is rated ahead of him. i think he need to be wise to follow his head than his heart.

The dude should make up his mind who to play for and stop playing antics
If he thinks he's too good for 9ja then he should face Germany and leave us alone!
He talked about love and passion, so Germany is his original love and passion while 9ja is his second hand love and passion
The dude is not serious at all angry

Former Super Eagles forward Jonathan Akpoborie says Paderborn Nigeria international defender Jamilu Collins is a solid player after watching the player live in action over the weekend in the German second division.

The 24 year old has emerged as the first choice option for Nigeria at left back after starring in back to back games for Nigeria in the AFCON 2019 Qualifiers double header against Libya but some Nigerians were still skeptical of his abilities.

Many criticised the decision of coach Gernot Rohr to play the former Rijeka defender mainly due to the fact that he plays in the German second division but Akpoborie who played in the Bundesliga during his playing days holds a different opinion.

Akpoborie posted on his official twitter handle before the game that he will be at the stadium to watch Paderborn against Sandhausen and he particularly mentioned Collins as part of the reason why he is going to see the game.

Collins was on from start to finish for Paderborn in the game which ended 3-3 and his performance has been rated as solid by the Germany based ex Super Eagles ‎forward in his post shortly after the game.

Paderborn vs Sandhausen:- very good game for the Fans, 3-3 it ended. Paderborn should have won this game easily, but gave their opponents the space to counter them. Jamilu, is a real solid player, and I see big potential in this player. He is certainly not a finished product yet

Henry Onyekuru is due to return from injury by November 12, according to various reports.

However, his return will come too close to the Super Eagles AFCON showdown against South Africa on November 17 in Johannesburg and so he is expected to be left out of the squad.

The 21-year-forward was injured shortly after featuring for Nigeria against Libya in Sfax earlier this month.

British tabloids have reported that European top guns PSG and Bayern Munich wish to sign Onyekuru from Premier League side Everton.

He has a contract with Everton till the summer of 2022.

He is currently on loan at Turkish champions Galatasaray, where he has scored twice in

Thank you, Jonathan. It gives me a great pleasure anytime those who know confirms the same thing that I had seen. I was totally appalled to see some folks on here bashing Jamilu Collins after the yeoman's job he did against Libya. Granted that it was against Libya, but his performance was topnotch! Akpoguma was very honest. His first choice is Germany but if Germany does not work then Nigeria.

Also, he wants to be fully committed if he plays for Nigeria

There is nothing wrong in what he said.

Better PR IMO ; I love the two countries based on my history. I would honor the first invitation from either country -this way his options are open.

What the lad said wouldn't make Germany love him more but you can be sure of the reactions from Nigerians.

Wisdom is profitable to direct

Finally Chukwueze made the list... Take it easy with Rohr.
Osimehn must have been inform to make the list.... Haven't been following his progress in his new club lately... But why just 3 midfielders..? Nice to see Agu back, the dude hasn't really been given time in GWG
Who's Adeleye..?

So Iwobi is going to be our controller against South Africa? In South Africa? I thought Mikel Obi is back? So we want to face the South Africans with a midfield trio of Ogu,Etebo and Iwobi. Bash me all you want, but we will be lucky to get away with a draw, mark that anywhere. This would have been an even better game to invite Kelechi Nwakali or some of these foreign pros like Ebere Eze, come on!!

Who is this Adeleke guy? If na Keshi now, we will scream Egunje.

Nice to see Victor Oshimen and Samuel Chukwueze. But don't we have wingers who are playing in better levels than Villarreal B? I love the guy's invitation but it is detrimental to our midfield, the SA's like playing on the counter and we do not ha e enough experience, skillset, speed or technical knowhow in this crop. I mean our midfield was overran in patches by Libya's quick midfielders, and now we have less pace in Ogu, Mikel is needed or at least somebody who can control the game. That said Super Eagles till I die

Adeleye Aniyikaye is an NPFL player with FC Ifeanyi Ubah.

See how Chidozie Awaziem his dropped in the pecking order.

Osimhen Re-invited. Lets have a close look at him again to ascertain whether he is a ready bread or needs to go back to the bakery like the Nwakalis.

BTW why is Onazi not there? Is it an omission or what?

For you guys shouting about ebere eze.....I think you guys should give up okay......I dont think he is in rohr plans

If chukwueze who can play few minutes can make the list then why not your favorite ebere eze? Rohr go say him no dey see ebere eze

Well I am surprised too. At least with Ndidi out due to suspension I expected to see Onazi on the list.

But be it as it may from the 3 midfielders we play only 2 at a time (DM and CM). We select the AM and wingers from the list of forwards. Which ever formation we adopt, be it 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 only one of those 2 midfielders will get to start. It means they will all make match day squad and some of those guys in the forward and defense list will be dropped.

i don't think Samuel chukwueze and victor oshimen will start against south Africa, there invitation is base on the friendlies at least to see what there can offer.

this is a good chance for john ogu to show us the stuff he is made of even though he has prove doubters wrong countless time.

Jamilu Collins is the real deal. Looking at how that left back position has evolved from 1994 to date, Jamilu has the potential.
