Ease of Doing Business: World Bank Group rates Enugu State 2nd in Nigeria

The World Bank Group has rated Enugu State as "the second most advanced state in Nigeria towards the frontier of global good practices" with regards to Ease of Doing Business.

The rating is contained in the recently released World Bank Doing Business in Nigeria 2018 report.

The implication of this objective verdict is that Enugu State, under the visionary leadership of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has institutionalized far-reaching socio-economic reforms, and provided critical infrastructure and security that have engendered robust Ease of Doing Business climate, creating an increased inflow of local and foreign direct investments in the state.

Enugu is always fortunate in terms of those who emerge as governors. From the time of Chimaroke down to Ugwuanyi, they all had great blueprints that work.

It all boils down to good succession plan and wonderful vision.
If you visit enugu, you will experience peace.

Kaduna shouldn't be number one. The security tension and religious conflicts among its inhabitants has made it fearful for investors to go there.
