THAT NOT TRUE, YOU ARE BEING PRESUMPTUOUS.

To make that wide sweeping statement you really have to know the players in question personally or have spoken to them one on one directly. Have you done any of those things

Before you ask me, I have with the larger majority and spoken to thier parents too.

Let me ask you this question,

How come you get access to such firsthand knowledge? Are you a coach, scout, agent or reporter?

Honestly I'd start Chukwueze if I were Rohr. Why?

1. Samuel Kalu was largely underwhelming against Seychelles and and Libya in my opinion.

2. Simon Moses hasn't been playing a lot lately. Might be a bit match rusty.

3. Chukwueze is a left footed right winger blessed with trickery and an eye for goal. He has that cutting edge that Moses and Kalu lacks. We need him in the SE.

4. Not much is at stake in this match. A draw against Seychelles will get us qualified even if we lose against SA. Therefore, no harm in taking a little risk.

P.S:
In Otigba's case, Hungary is no big team, so the allure was simply not there
But to be honest, that is the same way EVERY SINGLE FB player looks at Nigeria. And that includes Iwobi, Aina and co. It's always Europe first before Nigeria. Can you name a single FB player we have now who stood a good chance of making his foreign team before choosing us?

Why Rohr wasted time in inviting Ebere Eze beats me hollow. The midfield needs injection of younger players as likes of Mikel, Ogu, Joel and Onazi are fast aging away. I hope the NFF can immediately commence the paper work for the switch of Eze, Billings and Ejaria so they can be invited for the Seychelles game next year.

Billing doesn't seem realistic. He adores Denmark.. They will have to ignore him for us to have a chance at all

Agreed without reservation.

However, the question is how do you determine the best. In the quest to make room for favorites or other considerations. We have invited players based on past youthful glories and or the tag SPECAIL TALENT.

My view is that the best players play in the best leagues in general. But that can be matched with players who are in lower leagues and or clubs but are the OUTSTANDING TOP PLAYERS in that league.

In this regard Dele Alli, Gomez, Ademola, left lower league to the EPL with Dele and Gomez now the stand out players for England.

Why is Joe Gomez on your list? Is he affiliated to Nigeria?

See as u wan put wahala for my head this early mor mor grin Right now on paper u are right to expect them to be dropped but I feel they will be the hungriest players in camp and Rohr is getting set to have a big selection headache.

I seriously think Rohr will be tempted to start Samu because even a blind man can see that the boy is very special and on his day he could destroy South Africa. If he were Spanish, people would be talking about the next Messi and he surely would be a starter in Villarreal. Simon and Kalu will be his competition. Simon has not played for his club since return and Kalu was not so good last time out.

Victor Osimhen is basically an Ndidi that scores goals. The boy just does not stop working for the team, that is the real reason he won his starting place so quick in Belgium. He can play any of the front 3 positions and even was played as a DMF once at Wolfsburg. Nacho did not play last time and Success only played in Uyo so it wouldn't be a total shock if one or both hit the stands to accommodate the young man.

Chukwueze start when Kalu and Musa are in the team? Remember Moses Simon too is there.

He making the match day squad will even be shocking.

I have been serving bans lately hence couldn't contribute nothing when the list came out. That said, here is to announce that I am reconsidering my earlier plan of reopening my kickoff.com and soccerladuma.com accounts, reason is that, our list get coca cola bottle shape (big chest, flat tummy and big yansh). The carpenters wey dey that midfield no be here grin grin

Imagine Agu, Ogu and Etebo as ur midfielders, if I talk about the Ivorian midfield now, dem go say I no be loyal fan. Well, make I dey look sha angry angry

Osimhen has been better this season though

There is way more justification for the invitation of Awoniyi than Osimhen.

There is clear favoritism in the NFF selection.

Trabzonspor midfielder Eddy Onazi was on another level in his team's 1-1 draw against Antalyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday, earning rave reviews for his performance at the Antalya Stadyumu.

Of the 28 players in action, the Nigeria international touched the ball the most, 111 times in total, placing first ahead of Argentinian teammate José Sosa who had 100 touches.

Out of the 92 passes Onazi attempted, he completed 72 and ended the game with a passing accuracy of 82.6 percent.

But the most eye-catching stats is that he was the joint top dribbler, along with Antalyaspor's Dogukan Sinik with four take-ons.

The 25-year-old, had a game-high five tackles, won two fouls and made one interception.

In an obvious dig aimed at Gernot Rohr, Onazi criticized the German for not handing him playing time at this summer's World Cup.

The relationship between master and pupil is set to further deteriorate as the former Lazio ace has been omitted from the latest Nigeria roster announced on Monday for no good reason.

''I'll show my quality and talents to those who didn't give me the chance to play in the World Cup,'' Onazi told the Turkish press.

No disrespect to Onazi, he was at best a whit above average for us when he had it, and he did bleed for us, but now, he aint got it no more and he should make way.

ONLY Otigba has turned down the cajance to play for another senior team. I think many players will fancy their chances in the junior teams of the other country. Even Otigba played for Hungary’s junior teams prior to his call up in the senior team.

tbaba1234:

Otigba turned down an invite from Hungary to wait for Nigeria and we never invited him.

Ebere Eze and Ejaria have made it clear that Nigeria is their first choice. Ejaria came all the way from England to audition for under 17 and was part of the 2013 under17 team before Arsenal called him back. He would have gone to the WC with Iheanacho and co.

Semi Ajayi played under 20 for Nigeria. He did not wait to be called by England. He was at Arsenal at the time.

There are several players who will jump at the chance if we invite them.

Onazi was outstanding from 2013-2015, not even close to being average at all.
