Pls does you guys have watps chat if I can join for further discussion .

I joined Uber last month due to loss of my job and I had done over 100 trip . But my experience is that the job is not profitable except you have special customer off Uber or taxify .

The major one that pain me most is I carried a rider from park view Estate Ikoyi to Abule Egba, we spent 2hours 45minutes even the rider was tired of traffic . At the end of the trip Uber charge #4560 and deducted 1000plus which is 25percent . I used #2000 fuel . I can do any work again after the trip . Where is gain in d business . Wear and tear of the vehicle is also there .

Guy is any place I can do drop and chatter off Uber .

Thank you

Uber charges 15% on weekdays and 5% on weekends, bro.

Uber sometimes reassign trips based on proximity. So if you have received a request and a driver nearer to the rider becomes available. Uber can reassign that trip to him.
It also happens when 2 riders request 2 drivers. Rider A is closer to Driver B and rider B is closer to Driver A.
Uber can reassign both trips so both drivers don't have to drive long to pick both riders.
No it doesnt work that way. Once u get a request then its yours and no one else's until either u or the rider cancels. Any other thing asides that is just a glitch

Not all drivers do salt n pepper stuff, yet price sky rocket. Took someone from yaba to LBS. The fare was 7k plus. To cut long story short, she paid 4k. I reported to uber then they adjusted the fare to 4k. I've seen such more than 5 times. Its the phone or GPS problem
Uber will adjust your fare but won't adjust their initial commission. If you check the trip details I'm sure they still deducted 7k commission

I uninstalled my uber driver app because of this. I told them when they pay my N167.4 Then I will drive again in my free time. For now they are rogues.

It's true Bros, they took my 6k plus earnings in place of their commission because I collected cash plus other ones I didn't know until I fought them. Up till now no refunds whatsoever

I don't want to agree with you, because you cannot be rider and driver at same time. But from experimenting with 2driver apps and 1 rider app, request move to the closest driver only when driver cancels.

Nice one bro, if it was me because of how angry I am now, I will make sure I jam one when escaping, no careless billings. We ve to be very very careful this days.
I don't know why Nigeria has to be this difficult in all angle, what's there in telling people not to park there, instead they will be waiting for who will fall prey so they can smile.

Uber only charges 15% on weekdays and 5% on weekends in some particular areas within the boost map.

If you get a request from Festac town or Ayobo e.t.c, OYO. It's 25% commission.

P.S New drivers are not eligible for boost until they complete a particular number of trips.

Didn't know about the boost thing, I'm a new driver, how many trips for me to qualify for boost?

Happend to ME as a DRIVER severally.

When that happens it is confusing as hell, because you have already called your rider and you are on your way to them and then suddenly the trip changes (you may not even notice when that happens) and then suddenly somebody else is calling you and describing something else. It's also quite annoying.

I think those idiots are just out to frustrate uber/Taxify drivers and its gonna be worse in the coming days. They believe that every car parked on the road with someone inside is an ehailing vehicle whereas there are also several other vehicles parked along the same road. Cameron road in ikoyi is not a major road, I do relax there atimes self but with this I don't japaa.

am busy getting request at the other side of the road, I done watch 3 episodes of a series am watching and still no request since 3pm, not worried there's always tomoro smiley
Next time drive to Gbagada request is sure for there and its a very active area. Nothing happens in Mende and Anthony in the afternoons. I hardly get trips there and worst of it all is that you hardly see where to park in Anthony self cos of the narrow roads there.

It has happened to me just the way u described it .I didn't cancel as a rider but yet I was matched with 3drivers on 1 trip .3 of them called one after the other. The drivers kept changing until the final person arrived. Me as a rider was confused and I wasted more than 30mins for pick up .I guess network interference sha

It's not the network. It's intentional. What is important to Uber is that the rider gets a car quick.
They may have stopped it now as it was causing more confusion than good.
