As you know, skill type C is not permitted u der express entry, i am not sure of which other program you can go for. If you share your job description here, maybe peeps can help u look at it critically and see if it might qualify for level B or A
I am in customer service, with a bank. Though my husband's job as an accountant will qualify as skill level A, his score is below 400. What do you advice? Can I qualify for the provincial nominee program?

Good morning guys

So my husband has a US visa refusal from April last year.

Apart from the schedule A form, please what else do we need to submit to explain the refusal?

Elo, this is wat i did, my certificate isn't ready yet i only have my statement of result. When i applied for certificate it wasn't ready but i was given a letter of certificate/notification attached with photocopy of statement of result both stamped and signed by the HOD exams and record which i attached with the ICES request form for my school to sent it alongside my transcript to ICES. I also scanned the letter for certificate/notification with the photocopy of statement of result signed and stamp with the original coloured scan copy of my statement of result which i uploaded on the certificate column one after the other in ICES website. I also did uploaded a student copy transcript issued to me on the transcript column.

This idea i applied was gotten from one off us here who wrote to ICES in respect to same issues not having certificate ready yet rather he sent the certificate/notification letter to ICES to review and they accepted it can serve in lieu to the certificate. Although i went extra length to make sure my school sent it to ICES with my transcript.

If ur spouse's school hasn't sent the transcript yet, u can rush back and ask for certificate/notification letter to cover the certificate not yet ready.

On this same thread, some once "quoted" me that the sister or so uploaded her statement of result and ECA report was issued to her, let's hope for good.

Cheers,

PLS how long does ices evaluation take and is it faster than wes?

Even schedule A form is not necessary. Just answer the statutory questions on your e-Apr forms accordingly. There's a column for you to state the reason(s) for refusal, just do that and you're good.
If you have the refusal letter, you can attach it in the extra placeholder. Though not compulsory, but if that gives you peace, do it.

A contact at my local registry told that embassies verify certificates all the time. Whether he was lying I don't know.
yes, embassies actually do contact them for verification. i heard that too.
@yakay thanks for giving your opinion about it.

I think it will be good if others can put in their thoughts about especially those that have got their PPR, for future purposes.
may the online registration is not compulsory after all but a means to further siphon some money..lols

Yes you qualify for PNP. As a matter of fact, Nova Scotia has Accountant as one the Occupations in-Demand for it's International Skilled Worker Category B Nominee program. However, it's closed for the moment, so you have to gather your documents and be ready to upload and submit whenever it opens up. Check HERE. There's also a thread dedicated to people who aspire to immigrate through PNP. Check HERE. I'm quite sure you'll get loads of info there. Good luck

Is it possible to gatecrash for the medicals at Q-Life?....it seems The Children's Practice isn't conducting medicals for Canada at the moment and Q-Life is fully booked until January 2019. I heard some people that book in advance don't show up.

That depends on the request of the evaluating agency but I think all of them require the school to send the transcript directly. Even if that was the case, I don't trust UI PG school to do the needful.

I salute them for getting the transcript ready in one week and sending it via courier immediately. Since then, for 3 months now, they've been a thorn in my flesh - WES sent a request (both email and standard mail) for secondary verification of result (the disadvantage of having studied in Nigeria) but UI PG School claims they didn't receive any request in my name, not even the email. How's that even possible? I called WES to confirm that they sent the request and they said YES. If you ask me, I believe WES not UI. I'm caught in between now. I've had to pay an extra 78 CAD for courier to fast track the process. I'm still waiting.

So, please, don't rely on UI's mailing system - it's unreliable.

Thanks for the detailed response it's appreciated, however, I intend to use ICES to avoid WES wahala. Ices accepts transcripts via official email Address I'm not just sure if UI PG school will be willing to do the needful. I am trying to save cost by not sending it via post

Good morning house. I got below message from WES as per my NECO result sent to them. Pls what does this mean, do I have to start the process with NECO all over?
"
"
"

'WAEC Examination Results *Not Accepted

Reason: WES received your document, but it was not sent directly from the appropriate examining body or institution that awarded your degree/diploma.
Instructions: Please ask the institution that awarded your qualification or the appropriate examining body to send your academic document to WES in a sealed envelop that is stamped or signed across the back flap by the appropriate official. If you have already contacted the appropriate body, no action is necessary at this time. Refer to Required documents."

Pls has any one encountered this kind of issue before?

What the email means is that, NECO didnt send your cert to WES.

Where did you apply for your NECO to be sent to WES? I have narrated here the procedure.

PEOPLE, USE ICES OR IQAS IF YOU MUSTN'T USE WES!

IQAS? That takes about 4 months. It takes them over a month to open your transcript and 3 months to evaluate it.

ICES is the way to go if you dont have contact that can help with WES verification emails/mails.

Good morning everyone. I have been reading this thread silently since towards the end of part 4. I have read from part 1 and I appreciate the wealth of knowledge I gleaned. Thank you to everyone who improves the thread. My plan was to begin the ECA process this month, while I have also started preparing for IELTS. But somehow, yesterday we discovered that my hubby is hepatitis B positive. I am negative. I was devastated, I think I read somewhere on this thread of someone whose wife was positive too or something. Please does anyone know what this means for my Canadian dream. Is this the end of the road for us? Please help.

I think your job description as CSR can definitely fit into a NOC O, A or B job category. Try and search the NOC using your JDs instead of your Naija work title.

Perhaps this could help

Well I'm not an expert on EE but I don't think your dream is over. I will only advise that your hubby gets the best treatment possible for his condition and if the doctor gives him the all clear, you guys will be fine. Here, READ THIS, I did little research on Canadavisa on your behalf and saw a similar case. I think the husband also has the same condition and they passed medical in May of this year. So there is definitely HOPE. I wish you God's favor as you embark on this journey. Cheers

Let's look for a way to be proactive here. If you are going to send scratch card to them, we should do it in groups of 5 or 10 people and share that courier cost.

1 volunteer can buy for 10pple, write the name and ref appropriately on each card, write up a manifest of the total cards containing the names of the owners, envelope it and send.

The total fee incurred will be shared equally and the tracking ID sent to those concerned.

Pls add me. WES has sent verification to waec and no replys yet. Thanks

Well, I was born in the 1980's and paid for NPC birth cert alongside my wife '92. My wife was issued the original NPC cert just as my kids own but I was issued sometin called "Re Issue Birth Cert". Though it still carries the NPC name as the heading but completely a diff design. Was told sometin similar to what you said but I think they still issue for all age category.

Please how much did you pay for this NPC Birth Ceritificate. I got someone who is requesting for 15k and I feel it is too much for a birth certificate.

Kindly assist please and which LG location you used

Interested fellows should contact me asap, as I will be buying both WAEC and NECO scratch cards on Monday due to the possible labour strike that has been planned to commense on Tuesday.

Unfailingly, all scratch cards would be sent to WES via courier on Tuesday.
