Please, am a newbie in the house.
I already made admission application but my sponsor is neither my uncle nor a relative. He's someone that picked interest in sponsoring me and he lives in New York. How can I reflect that as to whom my sponsor is?
And what more info is needed regarding such a sponsor?

My only question was if anyone have been in that situation ; applying for undergrad without SAT or ACTS, not lecture about visas.

There are schools that don't require these standardized tests, but it may be a tougher way to go for an international student. The US colleges will like to be able to compare this student to a typical US high school senior, thus the need for standardized tests.
There may still be time for your student to register for the Dec 1st SAT exam. And from my experience, a typical Nigerian student does better with the SAT than the ACT.

Picked up my passport last week.

Mehn I fasted and prayed. Even though I stammered a bit at the beginning, I still got my point across.its just grace.
I dey always hear say people they deaf when they approved their visa. Omo I deaf straight immediately for like 5 seconds . Hopely this helps someone.

The name on my passport is the right order and the one on my UG cert and transcript is in the wrong order.

If order is the only challenge, then you don't need to worry your head over that. You may only need an affidavit in the case of a typo error.

Is it possibe for me to start reading for Gmat and Toefl in November and get high scores and still be able to submit before febuary. Note that I'm hoping to get assistantship.

I wouldn't have been concerned because my statements are legit but collecting bank statements slows down application. You might not hear from them till two weeks or three weeks and some of us don't have that kind of time as school resumes first week in Jan

Bowie state university hardly gives funding, besides it doesn’t require any standardized tests so I doubt they will even give any funding without already being a continuing student

I wasn't given funding, but they said I can apply to be considered for in-state tuition!

Yes you can, but target writing those tests before mid-January so there can be enough time (10-15 days) for your scores to get to your intended schools. This would be a good idea if you ace both tests, and do not have to rewrite any.

I'll advise you take your time to read for both of them while preparing your other application materials. You want to do this right once.
