It's been long I came home last. Congrats to Trastar, spyroxyl1, and other grantees. May the land cooperate with you for progress, breakthrough and break forth.
And to my person that got negative from vetasses, may you get the needed strength to do it again and get it right, so sorry about that.
Chief Bellong, happy belated birthday, more money in your pockets.

Would mechanical and production Engineering degree be considered relevant to civil engineering draftperson experience?

You will need a qualification in that field and/or a job description to match.

The job description you'd be stating needs to be tailored according to that stated on the anzosearch website.

With good enough evidence and documents you can claim whatever.

Dear Guru's in the house,

sorry I just have to ask this question as it's disturbing me.
Is it true that to measure English competence e.g via IELTS. It is judged based on the lowest score in the 4 bands?

L8
S8
W6.5.....this will be the basis for scoring

If I were you, I'd apply for a remark of the writing. If the interval for remarking has not elapsed, please go and remark, there are things one doesn't joke with oo... Lolzzz.

This your case is dicey.

VETASSESS is supposed to assess you as a food technologist but with your unrelated experience that would be a negative outcome.

Send a mail to Engineers Australia to ask whether they can assess you as "Engineering Technologist"

Let's have that feedback first.

Zany.

Thanks boss. Way to go...

Hello everyone,
I recently got a negative assessment with Vetassess for Marketing Specialist. Apparently I didn't prepare thoroughly so my BSC was assessed as AQF Associate degree.
I want to reassess now as customer service manager.

Question: 1. Has anyone done this before?
2. Will VETASSESS refer to the earlier documents I submitted for the first one.

I need help pls.
Thanks

Hi, if he did 4/5years B.Sc plus two years masters, he can go for AACA (architect accrediatation council of Australia) assessment, they don't require work experience, please visit their website for details OR if he has worked in an architectural firm or as a draftsman in any other company before, he can assess as architectural draftsperson with vetassess. All the best.

Your BSC being assessed as associate degree doesn’t really have anything to do with your preparation. You can’t package that as they have criteria and rules they follow to determine what your degree is equivalent to.

@bellong @Alphadoor
To qualify for partner point your partner has to access and get a positive assessment from assessment body responsible for her occupation.
So the question should be whether she will get a positive assesment with no work experience...
I can’t say. Maybe accountants in the house can help with that.

I joined this thread November last year, shortly after graduating from school, the accessing body for my profession insisted on 2 years post graduation job experience before you can get a positive outcome.....one year has passed, unto the 2nd year now, the wait is not easy, but its worth it!!! Kudos to all the in-house gurus and congrats to those that have made it.

.Thank sir. he has 4 years of B.sc in Architecture with no masters but currently running an MBA program. On the other hand, i have B.sc in Accounting from Unn with 2 years experience. pls is it a must that you will stick to the skill one used while applying once he or she gets there and again is there no related field that he can substitute for logistics
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by abby2443: 8:46am On Nov 05, 2018
@Viola2017

His 4years B.Sc will not fly with AACA but like i mentioned earlier if he has at least one year experience in any archy firm or as a draftsman in any company he should be fine with vetassess.

As regards your second question.. No, you can decide to switch your discipline once you get there, no penalty for that.

With respect to the third, I'll like to leave that for the accountants in the house. Regards
