Daboomb: Well, people learn everyday...and I will explain in simplest terms why the supply of money is not limitless through printing, Its basic economics. The problem is that printing more money doesn’t increase economic output. Money is just piece of paper that the government assigns numerical values. In other words, the more money a country prints, the more it is devalued, which leads to inflation (rise in the prices of goods and services). Suppose a country produces 1 million chairs at $10 each. If it starts printing more money, more people will have the money to buy chairs. But it won’t increase production of chairs, they’d still be at 1 million. But the demand for chairs will increase because people will have more money now. In response, chair manufacturers will raise prices (inflation). Now the same chairs will be sold for more, say $20 each. The economy will increase from $10 million to $20 million but the goods produced (chairs) will remain the same. To simplify, printing more money leads to inflation, which is why no country (rich or poor) wants to print more money than it has to. |

sokera: I don’t need to do reasearch I’m in the financial sector ... what you need to do is find someone to help enlighten you on the “debt to gdp ratio” and why every time debt is mentioned the worlds superpowers feature on that lost. You guys just come here to display knowledge and by the way I didn’t ask for long story . Now since the US borrows , using your analysis please WHY DO YOU THINK THE US GIVES OUT BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN INT’L AID/GRANTS |

nrexzy:lol...another indomie and democrazy baby....I'm sure atiku is older than ur parents...Do u even know his history?? I'm not holding brief but I'm following basic logic...I feel ashamed every time i read spurious comments from would be graduates or intellectuals....Hypocrisy is also a bane. Because an average nja worker doesn't depend on salaries Most of us diversify to make ends meet... So if a salary earner gets 18k monthly per annum and yet he was able to help a brother sponsor abroad trip...U will question his wealth in nja Get a real life and grow up.. |

27Pushing30:leave story , you asked a simple a simple question and I answered you , you said USA don’t borrow money and I proved to you USA borrow money , if you are truly in the financial sector then you should know no country can survive without Loan ... so you coming up with the debt to the gdp ratio is out of context... as long as Ecowas is concern Nigeria is obligated to spread supports to other ecowas countries that needs help . You should learn about foreign policies and supports ... |

Livefreeordieha:You know it's quite funny how people fight and defend people they don't know and who doesn't give a Bleep about then... Atiku was in power for over 16years what legacy did he leave? intels he once owned majority of the shares bought almost the whole of Onne, but what did they offer the indigenous people there nothing. When he was in power obasanjo travelled and Atiku sold most of our assets to himself.. Atiku has one of the major shares in Bureau d change, He owns one of the most expensive Universities in the country, He owns fleets of private jets and choppers so him saying he earns 60m in 3yrs is obsured cos we all know him so preying on our intelligence is an insult to us..we know he is avoiding tax. So I'm amused when u guys say things u don't understand or have proper proof of.. I don't give a f##k about him or Buhari buh for the record they both are fulani men.. |

nrexzy:neither do i give a rat ass bro...My point that brought u to me,please retrace and refrain from spurious accusations ..I'm saying it again...We shouldn't share our borrowed money like fada kerisimesi...Too much to ask Last i checked from the last borrowed funds...Each Nigerian owes 15k naira for aslong as the loans spans... Now why will myself and my kids pay for loan without direct impact in our lives?? Ok we can understand no accountability...But sharing it?? Ogun go keee all of una wey dey support diz anomaly.. |

cenaman: Quite unreasonable. the last time i checked, Atiku is not a political office holder. even if he shared 10 trillion naira during the primaries, its only coming from his personal coffers. Buhari kept donating our commonwealth. see the difference think |

kunmiiii: Who prints the Dollars? What is the world strongest currency? Go and read about the Federal Reserve in USA before you mention me again. |
Re: Stop donating money like Father Christmas - Atiku Media Tells Buhari by kunmiiii: 10:04am On Nov 05, 2018 |
wickyyolo: The Irony of you calling people names and telling them to go read when obviously you're the one that needs to do more reading, and be well informed so you don't continue embarrassing yourself upandan. Firstly the world's strongest currency is the Kuwaiti Dinar not U.S dollars. Well, people learn everyday...and I will explain in simplest terms why the supply of money is not limitless through printing, Its basic economics and you need a crash course on it. The problem is that printing more money doesn’t increase economic output. Money is just piece of paper that the government assigns numerical values. This is a wrong logic. The USA is the most indebted country in the world, and they still give out aids to other countries. |

Re: Stop donating money like Father Christmas - Atiku Media Tells Buhari by FrankFrenzy(m): 10:48am On Nov 05, 2018 |
thewesternking: Not when your house is not in order. Nigeria is in shamble right now, we seldom have enough to pay workers' salaries. IDPs here and there yet you are here talking about diplomatic relations. No one gives what he/she doesnt have.(Nemo dat quod non habet) Only Buhari's Federal governmet does |

nrexzy:ode leah sharibu parents gives a big deal oponu...I'd rather pay for her release with a fraction of that...Than to donate to a country that only requires my discretion not mandatory...I'd rather use it to help the flooded victims all over the country...I'd rather use it to help ilaje odo people in ondo town to get light and housing...They have no light from the federal grid since 70s or so..No road to the town only be ferries...And they are our brothers and sisters... How people like u sleep knowing u are devoid of logic and commonsense keeps me awake.. Don't quote me unless u reconcile with ur brain.. |

Re: Stop donating money like Father Christmas - Atiku Media Tells Buhari by wickyyolo: 5:14pm On Nov 05, 2018 |
kunmiiii: All this one is story. As long as your naira is measured with the dollars, the dollar has power. As long as the USA have the means to print money, they have the ultimate power for now. What the USA cannot do is to print money to upset foreign debts . That is when the ultimate inflation occurs. After living in USA for sometime you can see , these guys literally printed dollars and built their country. They only control inflation through taxes and other measures |

Atiku must be a joker, he thinks Nigeria is a joke, Atiku you are in no position to talk about charity. Carry yourself and go. this antics will not work on Nigerians. go and question your activities during the pdp primaries. |

Re: Stop donating money like Father Christmas - Atiku Media Tells Buhari by Daboomb: 10:35pm On Nov 05, 2018 |
kunmiiii: Everything you said above is true but your analysis as to why the USA can print money without limit is so flawed it is non-existent in your post...and l will point it out. For any other Nation that trades its goods and services in the "Dollar", your analysis holds because they dont PRODUCE/PRINT the Dollars. They must produce/sell something to get the Dollars in their foreign reserve and they cant print it themselves. But in the case of America, it cant print the Dollars and it can sell it/exchange it for the 'goods and services" of other countries. So, even if it produces no chair at all, as in zero chair, it can still get our Rubber, our gold, our Cocoa in exchange for the Dollars it prints. So, imagine a situation whereby all the countries of the world produce and sells product to America, in exchange for America giving them the Dollar paper money it prints............. America gets those goods and as such, it experiences no inflation, no matter the amount of Dollars it prints (because it will always get some "real goods" in return. If other countries try to print their own currency like that, no one will accept it from them in exchange for their goods and services |
