I'm sure some knuckleheads will come here to make it a tribal issue.
This issue of poor hygiene stems from a failure of government at the state and local levels. From the meat and poultry businesses, farm produce, even cooked food, there is nowhere in Nigeria where sanitary standards are adhered to. No health inspectors, no public water supply, no public storage and processing facilities. Nigerians just exist by the ingenious work of God on our immune systems.
This is not a government issue but a dirty and unhygienic individual issue.

If you're in the business of selling consumable then you should adhere to clean standards. You can buy clean water.

Is it not common sense to realize illiterate Nigerians do not know the concept of hygiene?
The man is reporting something majority of us with village bred-relatives already know.
The surprising part is their immune systems are stronger than those of people from sheltered homes. I guess the repeated introduction of bacteria makes them durable.

May God bless your parents for giving you good education and you for using your brain.
Most of the problems facing Nigeria can be solved at the State and Local government level. But some people would blame Buhari for the blocked drainages on their local roads.

Most Nigerians, IN ALL TRIBES are dirty!

Ebola would have swept this country to extinction.

The state and local government suppose to provide pipe borne water and enforce health and environmental laws.
When Nigeria start reason properly the country will make progress.
There was presidential election in Ireland two weeks ago. All the political parties agreed that the 77 years old president continue for another 7 year term.
People should start questioning their local government chairmen or state governors.

Some one posted a picture of some women washing in a stream and tagged it "Anambra women". and you're here talking rubbish.

He should have told us the location of the stream, telling us that it's in Awka is not enough. ...Where is this stream in Awka?.
