My personal advice: subject to other opinions .Do your own and the baby first, and later that of your husband. Home tie must be seen to be so strong now. He can always apply later to accompany you with this reason you gave and any other cogent reason(s) as the case may be. Provisions are always available for children.

another thing is , what type of form will they fill?
Moreover, i need him to work so as to be able to keep up with the finances, thats another personal reason i want him to follow me

Correspondence letter. I think is the final stage after stamping of passport as stated in the letter. When your passport is stamped, you will get the correspondence letter, i think. We submitted the passports in Abuja on Friday last week to vfs. I WANT US TO NOTE PLEASE: IT IS INCORRECT TO SAY THAT THE ABUJA VFS CARRIES PASSPORTs ON WEDNESDAYS ONLY: IT IS MISLEADING, ITS EVERYDAY. I ASKED THEM AND WITH TRACKING, IT SHOWS THAT IT ARRIVED CANADA VISA OFFICE ON MONDAY THIS WEEK or maybe ours enjoyed uncommon speed. But i think its everyday.
Awuuga:
Okay. How long did it take your wife and kid to get an update after the correspondence letter?

@Trizadove

My personal advice is GO with your family ( at least with all your children), you can include your husband if you have enough funds to show.

Just make sure that you have the funds to show for living expenses and 1-year tuition.

From my observation, they are a bit lenient with mothers who are furthering their education, with their family. VO's are human beings. It may even be a female VO that will work on your file. VO's know how important it is for mothers to be with their children.

Simply convince the VO in your SOP that you will return with your family after studies.

Depending on whether online or paper. the questionnaire available on the online platform will indicates all the necessary forms. for paper route, you can get it here. or their website. i don't know that every informations that needs are there on the websites until after the approval.
If you need him, it will take wisdom. wisdom and wisdom. just take it one step at a time.

We have derailed from the purpose of this thread. Visit visa thread is there for this kind of discussion. Meanwhile, just pray. All that you have said has no meaning to these VOs. The quality of your application is the Koko vis a vis your home ties and your personal asset/financial status. The rate of Nigerian asylum seekers has really put a blow to our image in Canada and as such, they see every Nigerian seeking viss as a potential asylum seeker. It is the same Nigeria where a sports ministry sponsored about fifteen local sportsmen for an event in Canada and only seven of them came back. We are really in a mess.
What they now do for a visit visa is to delay it till the event passed and refuse on purpose of visit. I pray this will not be your portion. Amen

Gradually what you said is coming to real. Tomorrow Friday is the program in Canada. Most celebrities has been fall in to canada while my application still on process. The founder of the program who submitted the whole application said he has sent four different mail to canada embassy. He was still assuring me of getting the visa but my headache is tomorrow Friday 9th is the program till 11th of this month. Just three 3 days event

My opinion!

I am talking from experience and observation over time.

If i can get it with my kids, why can't every other person give it a try if they have the funds?
Again it's peoples choice.

I just said my 2cents.

They should, but we don't know thier thinking. You can always sponsor the other two kids. after going through the process, I learnt one thing: do not feel that you have another chance to reapply, therefore give everything you can do not to reapply again. Block every loopholes as if you don't have another chance. Explaining after denial is hard. So please just think deeply. it will be harder next year, so use this opportunity to do it right please. it worth all the sacrifices. i Used my Business, Landed properties, My older son(13 years) and myself as home ties. I think Its not about fund, to throw everyone in, but i was adviced not to do so. i am given unto you the same advice, because i want you to succeed. you can use the other advice with 100m in your account, it should fly.
Trizadove:

thank you so much, but what about the other 2 children i plan on leaving behind? cant they be enough home tie?
or what do u think?

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Coast2Coast: 12:06pm On Nov 08, 2018
The kids can always go through sponsorship. I am talking from my own personal experience. That is it. The VO should feel you aren't migrating with style.
Opinion differs I respect that, but as Nigerian, its not that easy in the eye of the VO. The truth. She can do as convenient for her. But patience is profitable.

Thank you i have submitted application already, so my question is can i do medicals and submit even though i have not been called for medicals? I was thinking about the long processing time. What is the process of submitting it? will i have to go to vfs to submit it. I did paper route.

Austacus:

Yes for the medical and for your friend in Canada, she should Apply in Naij
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Awuuga: 2:09pm On Nov 08, 2018
If I may chip in...

Yes you can.
No you don’t have to go to vfs to submit.
Have you linked your application? If no, check frankrobbn1’s timeline he posted how to go about it a while ago.

When you link your application, you can upload your medical exam result from the comfort of your home.

You wouldn't go through vfs to submit your medicals.
The medical center would send your medical results by themselves
So what you will need to do is to send the medical confirmation slip via webform or email address to Nairobi office cause you applied through the paper route.
You can as well wait for your medical call to drop before going for your medical (my 2 kobo sha).

Bless you

I AWAIT your reply sir. I sent you am email and no reply yet. Plz help. Tnx

I do not see why a new VO cannot approve application in 4 days. I have seen a new first time application approved in 2 days.

Sorry I will try and reply. I saw the mail, but just very busy with work these days. Since Canada abandoned us, I even forgetting I have an application with them. I might as well as as move on. They should get back to me whenever they want. I am beginning to agree with someone who said the other day that they are mad. Hahaha. I will try and reply all is well.

You guys rock! Please can medical be done upfront after submitting application via paper routes. I need your advice!!! If someone currently holds TRV to Canada is it advisable to apply for study in Nigeria or when she arrives Canada? Gurus in the house pls help?

Yes medical may be done upfront after an application has been submitted. After the completion send them the form the hospital gave you and it will be uploaded and passed. Yes if you are in Nigeria you can apply here. If you are rejected, I will advice you to travel to Canada on the visiting visa. I know someone on this forum who traveled on visiting visa after repeatedly denied student permit in Nigeria. The school refused to allow him enroll without a student permit and recommended he travel to the nearest border post with the USA. There he applied for a student permit and got it. He is now in school and presentry applying for his family to join him on a SOWP. Just feeling generous today to let you guys on a best kept secret.

School doesn't communicate with embassy, it's your responsibility to present all documents to embassy. School will only send document or communication to embassy only when contacted by embassy which is rare. Good luck.
