Applying for remark is a gamble. If you're sure of what you did, go ahead. If not, you can still apply for a remark and write the next Ielts as well.

Center for the exam is somewhere on ABA road I'm not sure of the place. Their office is on Evo road I think somewhere close to Le Meridien. MOD staff once said it's hard to get a 1.0 bump if there'll be a bump at all it's mostly 0.5. can't speak for BC. Both are dicey anyway and and no 2 situations are the same. So follow your heart wink

Guys, my joy is overfull. Finally, I'm free from the shackles of IELTS! My first attempt came as L7,R7,W6.5, S7. I was so sad, but I braced up and retook the test. My current result is: L8, R7.5, W7, S7.5. CRS score is 450!!
Thanks for your help. This platform is da bomb!! I got the link to ieltsadvantage.com from here, which I used for my writing, and I used Liz's blog for others. I also used ieltsonlinetests.com for reading. Onto the next level guys.... See you all @the top.

Hi All,

I took the IELTS exam on Oct 27th for the first time and below are my results:

Listening: 9.0
Reading: 9.0
Speaking: 9.0
Writing: 7.5

I spent less than 5 hours in total preparing for this exam and I focused only on speaking & writing as I was told those were the difficult sections.

I only watched YouTube videos and recommend the IELTS videos by Jay for writing & IELTS videos by Liz for speaking.

Also for writing make sure to use FANBOYS (For/As/Nor/But/Or/Yet/So) in addition to the complex words Jay will give you.

Both. A friend who's daughter is an American uploaded both and sent both and it returned with no stamp on both. Just the COPR

Best wishes to all those writing the test today... MOD has just one GT test left for the year on the 1st of Dec while BC has 2 more. Hopeful one of the draws would favour everyone with different CRS scores.Cheers

I want to know if they use headset for their listening@MOD center Ph. As for my writing, I was expecting a minimum of 7.5 or worst case 7. The exam coordinator wrote my candidate number on a paper during writing because he said I was holding my pencil after he said pencils down. However, he told me I won't be penalised when I meet him later after the test. I can't tell if I was later penalised

I have a question.
I discovered Sterling bank has a higher interest rate than the bank I use. Would it be a red flag if the bank i use is diffrent from the bank for fixed deposit ?

Send both but I doubt it whether the visa vignette will be stamped into any of your US citizen kids.

The US citizen kid will most likely be issued CoPR and eTA approval.(as US citizens don't need visas to enter into Canada except filling of a simple questionnaire called eTA)

Whilst you (a Nigerian citizen) will be issued a 1 entry PRvisa and CoPR.

You don't have anything to loose, send all passports in and come back to educate us after you receive your CoPR.

It will end in praise IJN!

I suspect it should be 8th November the 12th day based on past trend, but my friend is not comfortable with guessing because of misrepresentation fears and wants to enter the pool asap ahead of Monday.
Please any precise info for those(MOD) that collected yesterday? Input will be highly appreciated.
