Passport and visa are declaratory, not constitutive. In other words, a passport is a prove of citizenship, not the citizenship in itself. Same logic also applies to the visa. Since you've been declared eligible to enter Australia by Australian law, you can always get a replacement visa.

Just declare the passport as lost/stolen. Then collect a police report, you'll need it to get a new passport and also for a visa reissue.
