See I heard a story of a man that did that. He eventually arrived Canada and was having a cool shower few days later when he heard his name called three times with a megaphone, and before he could say Jack he heard again 'welcome to Nigeria home sweet home'. Anyways, to cut the long story short, he is presently in Ipetu-Modu.

Good morning people. I need help please. I gave ICES an address in Canada for them to deliver my evaluation reports to. Unfortunately, the person at that address wasn't home to receive it. UPS asked that it be picked up from one of their offices but it has to be picked up by the bearer of the name on the parcel. What do you think I can do? Anyone had a similar issue? Anyway ICES could be of help ? Please help with possible solutions. Thanks

Congrats to those who have gotten their PPR and a big thanks to those keeping this thread alive.

I have a little grey area I'll need some help clarification on. @bigfido @ladyay @kayvann or anyone who has applied as self employed, kindly help with this. I have gone through the major parts of the threads (part1-5) but this area still seems unclear. Kindly permit me to itemize my concerns so others can easily go through.

Regarding the proof of self employment i.e written notes/letters from clients, payment from clients etc.
1. How is this supposed to be?
2. Do I contact clients from way back, say 3 years ago to provide these letters?
3. What format should these letters be? Emails from them or typed hard copy letters?
4. How many of these letters from past clients will be sufficient to show that one has over 3 years experience has a freelancer/registered business owner?
5. Kindly provide any other advice or tips as you deem fit.

A very big thanks in advance. May God bless you and help us all. Anticipating a response.

PS: I am a web/mobile developer. Been freelancing since January 2015 then registered my business in January 2017.

@bigfido @ladyay @kayvann or anyone else. Kindly shed more light on this. This will be greatly appreciated.

It has been said repeatedly, if its not mandatory; do not use WES. Aside the WAEC wahala, verifications can take forever.

ICES even accept transcript by email (through the sch official email) and no verification or WAEC wahala.

I know someone that did his B.sc with WES and he got additional qualification. I advised him to use ICES and just forget WES. He took the advice, re-evaluated his B.sc with ICES and the PGD with ICES.....In 7 weeks, he got his evaluation report sent to him.

My own B.sc verification alone took 3months because of back n forth and I regretted using WES then.

All the best guyz.

Good morning, e-family. I am really confused about something. I am currently self employed but have enough work experience which I have claimed points for and already in the pool.

When I add my business in my work/personal history, do I still need to include documents concerning the business?

Is there any particular reason why you want to use WES? If none, please use ICES. Best of luck.

You would have added the same documentary evidence for job experience. No need for duplication.

WES is not the same as ECA!
WES is overrated (given the experience of many including myself)
Try other evaluating organizations for your ECA and save yourself the nightmare of WES.
Only WES if other approved evaluating bodies won't do your credentials.
Only WES if you like troubles, disappointment and scapegoating.

I wouldn't have added it because I didn't fill it in while creating my profile. All I did was add my years of work experience while claiming points with the NOC and details of my previous employer.

The business would go into my PERSONAL history after I've received ITA. I was wondering if I had to add docs like certificate of incorporation as well as an LOE
