Hello everyone,

I hope i get a positive response from at least one person so please if you are kindly assist.

I am a 30 years old female and will be clocking 31 in 2 months time, i currently have a BSC and a Masters from a UK university. Work experience of over 7 years including 1 year NYSC. i have an IELTS result of Overall= 7.0 Listening 8.5 Reading 6.0 Writing 6.5 Speaking7.5. I am married with 2 kids and hubby has 14 years experience but without a masters degree.

My questions:

Can i apply and if yes what province should i go for

Should i apply for a reevaluation because i think i should get a higher mark in my reading and writing.

Sorry to bore you but please just one response will make my day .

Thank you

It seems you would need to be the PA since you have masters and cos of your age. Kindly re-write your ielts and aim for 8777 (LRSW) then evaluate your master degree, you can use WES since its from UK so you would need to go through the WAEC wahala....You can also ask your hubby to write ielts and evaluate his own bsc. when you do all this ..i bet you, your crs score would be above 445 which is enough for you to get ITA.....

I think you can. After ITA, you have 60 days to apply. Before then, she must have gathered all the required docs.

Hi guys. So my sister, @dumprep lands on December 10. I intend to edit my EE profile to include her the same day she lands as the sibling points would increase my score from 427 to 442. Right or rookie move?

As I wouldn't want a draw to pass me by in December. Thanks.

You can apply, however you need to rewrite IELTS and get a minimum of 8777(LRWS) to be able to score above 440.

No need to apply for remark as your Reading score would most certainly remain the same.

Also, get your spouse to write IELTS as well to boost your scores.

Lastly, start with your credential evaluation (UK MSc using WES) and let your spouse evaluate his as well using ICES (I'm assuming his 1st degree was obtained in Nigeria)

are you evaluating with ICES for sole purpose of verifying WAEC/NECO? if no, then read up diligently. All the best.

Ask for a remarking if u are sure that u should have scored higher in writing and reading. Ur other parameters are OK which will make applying for express entry easy for you

I belief ices don't require verification because if they do, they will expect verification from usman danfodio. I am of the opinion that it should be NTI. a friend who used usman danfodio is still at verification stage although she used wes so I'm answering based on my experience with wes. I don't know about ices

Baba/egbon,
IMO it’s a rookie move indeed.
You have awaited this long, don’t use your hand cause trouble to yourself and by yourself.
If you land ITA with that, can your sister provide the necessary needed documents? E.g PR card, utility bill etc.
If no Baba chill out and wait for the right time to avoid story.

Please stop mixing things up, ICES does't require any WAEC/NECO thing for post-secondary evaluation biko before they hear now and start demanding for it.

You're still asking?? Infact type the stuff while you are at the airport, immediately her flight takes off, press 'send' grin
Between the wait time for ITA and the 60 days post ITA she should have the basics ready. Anyone not ready by deadline can be sent via CSE.
At least the scramble to get the documentation should keep her too busy to be aiding and abetting Professor Snape angry

Of course you can apply but you need to deal with the IELTS score first.
Province doesn't matter because you'll have enough points for an ITA, so choose any province you like.

I am not sure about the bolded below.... Anyways, One and Same person affidavit is the answer
damiflex:
@smslive2

Please... I need advise. I have followed the thread from part one, but I am yet to get the information clearly.

My name is "Damilola" on all my academic certificates starting from secondary school to University.

But all other documents, birth certificate, driver license, passport, bank accounts, I mean all other documents bearing "Oluwadamilola".

I registered on WES using DAMILOLA and I will also be using Damilola for the remaining processes..

Please how can I ensure that my name will not be an issue using the affidavit and the channels to use it

Good afternoon, all.

Concerning the Planning for Canada session...

Last month, I was given available dates to choose from, and I chose the 20th of this month. No feedback or correspondence since then.

Please, for those that have attended the session, is this normal? Should I not have received a confirmation mail stating venue, date and time?
