Hello House,

Please can anyone who RECENTLY applied for settlement visa and have done biometrics (especially in ABUJA) kindly confirm the documents submitted here in Nigeria.

I'm asking because I'm getting conflicting info
Info 1 - Only Intl. Passport

Info 2 - Intl. Passport, Printed & Signed application form and passport photo

Info 3 - Intl. Passport, Printed & signed Application form, TB Certificate, and Passport photo.

Please someone help me out.

Thanks

Every documents will be sent to Sheffield. The only things needed at the application centre are
1. Applicants passport
2. Signed application form
3. Payment confirmation print out (just in case)
4. Priority payment confirmation print out( just in case)
5. Appointment confirmation print out

I am getting ready to apply for British Citizen for my daughter when she arrives in 2 weeks time
and wondered if anyone can break this down for me. I was born in Nigeria and gained British
through naturalisation years back. My parents were born in Nigeria and British if that helps to
answer my question. Thanks

I am a bit confused:

'Your parent' as you wrote here, is that in reference to you deji2009 as the father of your daughter or is that your own parents as the grandparents of your daughter.

If it refers to you then none of them is correct for you because if you got your British citizenship by naturalisation then you are British otherwise than by descent so you can't pick any of those options.

Just out of curiosity, you said you are applying for British citizenship for your daughter but since you are British by naturalisation, why not apply for her British passport straight away.

Do you know what I meant to do was to apply for her British passport online, I just confused myself. You're right!

Thank you for using the HM Passport Office online application service. You have successfully created an
account for your passport application. I will complete it when she arrives

But you get my drift though ?

Hi everyone, I’ll be applying this week but my husband lost his payslip for September. He had to print the one online which is different from the others. His employer didn’t sign it neither does it have a stamp, but he mentioned it in the employer’s letter that all payslips are genuine. Will this be a problem or has anyone been in a situation like this and still got their visa? Please help.

Also, please how will I pay for priority? When I go for bio at TLS?

Would be very difficult to plan the logistics of an inspection, with the landlord or estate agents. It's best to organize inspection, when the tenant has signed for the property and is resident.........

Is the property an HMO ?

What I would advise you is, Submit the originals you have + extra printed online copies.

In essence, assuming you are submitting January - June...... Submit double copies of all, that counters the lost one and also include an explanation...............

Yeah I used the gov.uk/ BRP. I told them to deliver it to my home address, I got an email from BRP Department on the 15th of Nov saying my BRP will be delivered 3-5 working days. Hopefully I will get it before Friday by Gods grace. My hubby was able to my Sons own from the post office. But you can still go ahead with other stuffs like NI interview, GP registration etc.
