IamD18:i do not support her actions, but i think rather than let the baby die she prefered hand it over to someone who can look after the baby, she is better than those your heroes who flush their babies down the toilet or throw them in refuse, if the hospitals in portharcourt had human sympathy stories like these would not be aired on this forum. the biggest problems to infant mortality in portharcourt are its mefical personnel, they re so money conscious, they are ready to do anythingfor money, human life has no value to them, i speak from experience. this woman has been so. traumatized to make this decision |

there is one popular hospital in stadium road that specializes in cs, they dont want normal delivery its cs or nothing, and you better have your money complete or no delivery, so called health professionals are very unprofessional, all they care about is how the can maximize profits, if you dont have a family friend in the medical line, then your health aint guaranteed. |

Honestly i don't see anything wrong in this act, its better for the baby to be sold to someone who can take care of them. most of these poor people have nothing to offer, especially in portharcourt where you see a family of 5-8 living in a batcher (wooden house) most times these children don't go to school even with the free education, even when they go to school they don't learn anything because they have empty stomachs. Imagine that woman sold the baby for 750k, do you know how useful that money will be to the family, with that money they can startup a business and be able to provide for the remaining kids I don't see anything wrong in selling these babies, as long as the babies are not stolen or used for rituals, also its better off than Abortion. I have thought about this several times and if i were in their shoes i will do the same. The government needs to legalize this act for people, the police should stop looking for an excuse to arrest people, instead of protecting the citizens the police are looking for cases with money involved so that they can collect the money. Africa is not like the western world and would never be , we need to tell our selves the truth sometimes. |
