Would be very difficult to plan the logistics of an inspection, with the landlord or estate agents. It's best to organize inspection, when the tenant has signed for the property and is resident.........

Is the property an HMO ?

We're looking at different options (1 bedroom, studio flat, and also an HMO), depends on which we're finally able to secure. I'm just getting ready prior in preparation of what our option finally is.

I would personally recommend a 1 bedroom or studio flat....

Hopefully I will get it before Friday by Gods grace. My hubby was able to my Sons own from the post office. But you can still go ahead with other stuffs like NI interview, GP registration etc.

Thank you so much.have you done the NI interview and GP registrstion?. Thought the N.I will not be possible without BRP.I called the line and the lady I spoke with said do I have a BRP.told her am yet to collect it was that the case with you?as for the NI did you go online or you called them?

Yes I've done my NI interview and GP registration, i was able to do the NI interview because i printed the email between me and the home office and my hubby also wrote introduction letter,I could not do my provisional licence because of my BRP. I received my BRP today, I was given 2 years instead of two and half years.

How much did they charge you for NHS subcharge?

OK gurus, I think I have a massive problem on my hands, I need your help!

We were waiting for Hubby's 6th month payslip to start our application, he got it and we discovered that alongside pension plan, unpaid sick leave was deducted before gross, and this put us under by £40.

Also, the overtime he did that would have made up for it wasn't included

Please is there anyway around this at all rather than starting the count from the very beginning? cry

I would advise you wait another one month if the payslip for the next month can cover up for any discrepancies. (This is on the assumption that the total gross for the 6 months would be added together to make £9,300 or more..)

That is usually after gross pay, have your husband gotten a letter from his company for the visa application? Has he worked for a year in that company?

Both (unpaid sick leave and pension) were deducted before gross pay.

No he's yet to get the letter, it was supposed to be gotten after we got his 6th payslip, then this came up.

No, he's not worked for a year, He joined the company in May this year.

Please don't be in a rush to apply to avoid refusal, wait until the requirement is met

Hi Justwise,

Thank you for your response.

He's been with the same company for 6 months (May) and counting (still with d company), and has earned more than the required £18600 annual rate, so I'm a bit confused on what you mean by "wait till we meet the requirement". Please help me elaborate further.

Thank you

Ok if he has earned that much then he can apply and meet the financial requirement either through salary or through savings or both. If he has £16000 in his account now then he is good to go. A letter from his company will state his annual salary too.

Thank you.

I think I need to clarify more. He earns £20000 annually which brings his salary to £1660 + monthly (plus comes from overtime) He started working with his present company in May and we were working towards applying this December, but his November salary fell short (£1510) because sick pay was deducted and his overtime pay (£250) wasn't added either.

My question is, following the error on the payslip (omitted overtime pay), which should increase his November earning to £1760, is there a solution to this?

1. Getting the company to reissue a new payslip with the correction.

OR

2. we apply in January,

then get the company to indicate on the letter they will give him, his earnings, and that there was an error in the November payslip, and also write a signed and stamped note on the payslip indicating the error and what the correct amount is supposed to be and how the correction has been reflected in his December Salary payslip.

What do you think?

Try that first if it doesn't work then go for the second option

For your information...

Increase in IHS fee has been approved and will be implemented anytime soon.

IHS fees have now doubled. Spousal applicants pay £200 but will now be £400 only grin
