Soldiers Massacre: Army Threatens Legal Action On Fake Video Sharing by Explorers(m): 1:41am On Nov 25, 2018 |
The Nigerian Army has threatened to sue individuals and groups that disseminate fake videos, stories and photos of purported Boko Haram attacks against the military. In a statement on its social media pages, the army said it was dismayed at the indiscriminate publication of and distribution of videos purported of the attack on soldiers in Metele village, Borno State. It warned that such actions were capable of undermining national security and could not be allowed to continue unchecked. https://www.channelstv.com/2018/11/24/nigerian-army-threatens-legal-action-over-fake-videos-of-boko-haram-attacks/?utm_source=FB&utm_medium=ChannelsTv&utm_campaign=SNAP%2Bfrom%2BChannels+Television 2 Likes 1 Share

I agree with the Army, even if such video happens to exist, with our rapid re posting and broadcasting, will sure demoralize our Army (who sworn to upheld our sovereignty with their lives) and give the Boko boys more courage to attack another military formation. God bless our sovereignty! God bless the Nigeria Army!!! 26 Likes 2 Shares |

This is Africa! They refuse to acknowledge their fallen heroes, they even deny losing men in battle, they try to cover up the sacrifices of people who commit their lives to defending the sovereignty of their nation, all to what end? To make Buhari look good politically. One way or another these tapes will leak to the public, this is the age of accountability and transparency, step up and stop whining 270 Likes 25 Shares |

in other country when a solder dies in Battle they are publicly given national honor. but in this country they are secretly buried like rats and shutdown media houses just to downplayed their failure and incompetence. Nigeria army are the most useless in the world. when they send them to war in other Africa countries, they went there and end up impregnating the women there.. 170 Likes 13 Shares |

The Most Useless Service Chiefs in world today can be found in Nigeria. They are members of APC because they are as corrupt as any other Nigerian Army officer. Despite the Metele embarrassment, they prefer to remain in service until they have looted the defense budget for themselves, their political cronies and funded APC election campaign. 85 Likes 6 Shares |

Soldiers from old eastern region, what are you still waiting for? is it until you all lay dead before you know that you are d primary target. resign and come and take care of your families. We are Igbos, we help our own , we will help you all back on your feet again. We love you, pls don't die in vain. there are moles among you , secondly, your weapons are outdated, why fight a war you know nothing about? As for Buratai and Buhari, go back to Sudan where you both belong and stop killings innocent Nigerians. Atiku Obiwill be a far better president than Buhari will ever think of. 116 Likes 6 Shares |

SenatorBudoma: That video is scary and shocking bro. Moving from one dead soldier to another and giving them another shot in the head just to make sure they're all dead. No secured base/camp perimeters, no radar in their bases to detect incoming attack from miles away, no communication system, no backup, expired weapons and equipments. In developed countries, if soldiers are setting up just temporary camp/base anywhere, it will be up to a life time standard and secured no matter how small the size. Perimeter will be like a mile away with air/ground defence system, communication gadgets, armory, generators and both ground and air support few miles away. If soldiers are travelling in danger zones like this, they deploy drones ahead their route first to detect ambush and to guide them with their motorcade full of armoured cars/humvees and a communication vehicle. (Ground/air support not far o in case) Serious people/Government that value lives of citizens, that's what they do. We can afford these things, but we wont just do the right thing here. Men at Nigeria/Chad border/Borno, you giving them hilux and staying in holes and under trees camp like animals The more the pain/agony/suffering/crying of the people, the richer they become. 117 Likes 10 Shares

See how pathetic the army can stoop low to join the lies and propaganda of the government of the day? Of course it simply confirms that the army is the architect of its own failure and downfall. 15 Likes |

You guys should know your limits of propaganda, not with people's lives, that's 100+ families that has just moved to the next level of poverty 71 Likes 3 Shares |

- It is wrong to share the video. It can be traumatucing. It can also lower morale of the army and people who intend to join. - Rather than threaten citizens, the army should be proactive. Give them befitting burial and post humous awards. Improve on communication between formations. Use technology. I'm aghast that at this stage we cannot even track this guys to thier base after an attack. - We should learn to separate politics from national disaster. When APC weren't in power they felt GEJ was fighting North with fight against boko haram. Now, PDP are into the same trap. Civic duty should come first before politics. - Army should not be enmeshed in politics. The only reason why they deny attacks or downplay casualty figure is because they have entangled themselves in politics. - This insurgency has been monitized. People are making money from it (withib bokoharam and Nigerian army). Even though it's a religious ideology war, money is the fueling factor. Without stopping the cash flow on both ends, it will never end 25 Likes 1 Share |
