Please what sequence do you suggest?

should be thunder arrestor and flat metal tape be installed during roofing?

If yes, could the tape running down to the earth be stopped at the block level to be rejoined later (to avoid theft before full earthing)

MUst earthing be done before final electrical installations?

Lastly are their fake and inferior arrestors and earth rods so that one can avoid them and buy originals?

Ans: Yes the Thunder arrestor should be installed during the roofing to avoid leakage.

If yes, could the tape running down to the earth be stopped at the block level to be rejoined later (to avoid theft before full earthing)

Ans: The tape can be stopped at the block level and joined later to complete the earthing to ground using earth joint


MUst earthing be done before final electrical installations?

Ans: It Can be done during the cabling stage so that cable from EARTH PIT can be connected to Earth Bar/Distribution Board. Note that Earthing must be done on or before final electrical installations.

Lastly are their fake and inferior arrestors and earth rods so that one can avoid them and buy originals?

Ans: We have a lot of fake Lightning and Earth rod, If you are not familiar with the materials you will hardly differentiate the fake from the original.

NOTE: Separate the lightning arrestor from the normal earthing.
