The issue is not just the capacity of the church building. They should balance the teachings of God's word. Today, most of our ministers just preach and teach what people want to hear. In such cases, you will have whatever crowd you want to. It now makes those ministers who preach the truth look as though they are not doing well in ministry. So, don't be moved by numbers. God knows those who are truly his servants.

Religion, still the opium of the masses and the very poor. We celebrate buildings of religious houses, while developed countries celebrate innovations that will empower people and create massive jobs for them. PS: I don't engage in a religious debate/argument of any kind as I've realised people are damn fanatical about their beliefs which I think they earned a right to be, but I won't just join issues with such people!

If you go to developed countries, people do not pray for things they can get. Eg no one prays for good roads, security, good and quality healthcare, electricity, water supply, etc. It is a given that such things must be there. In the 21st century, an average Nigeria still pray for such things! We will not ask ourselves why that is so. Germans are atheists, go to their country and see how everything works. The hypocritical Nigerian religious person will be given money for a standard hospital, he or she will embezzle it and buy islands in the Caribbeans and tell you to pray to God you don't die in the empty hospitals! Most of the religion practiced in Nigeria is one of hypocrisy. People just prey on the people for their own personal gains. I rest my case.

Good one. Open big churches on Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja. That is where the big Spenders reside. More money for the "children of God". Once you embezzle cover money, you give a percentage to the church. Can churches build industries? Hell no. Instead, they will rather build expensive schools for their big tithing customers.
