This thing I realized is not really a new discovery sef, MIUI threads on Reddit have complain about this tire since they found out about it in MIUI 10 development rom before it even reached stable n me I found out when I updated to MIUI 10 stable. I still rate MIUI high, I just don't like some of it's design decisions

I didn't state d main cause of their predicament, because I don't know. It was my believe on a contributory factor I stated and I was "almost" certain, and sounded like there were more.

I think the reason is that whenever you factory reset your phone and you are logged in (mi account) you will be asked to provide your password and it will be verified online before you can use the phone. This is where I think it's important to have quick settings enabled because you will have to switch on data or connect to wifi to achieve this.

pple really seems to forget things fast, in android 2.3 days, if you don't have data on and you entered wrong pattern countless times, it will ask you to sign in to Google account to gain access to the phone back, the problem then was that pple don't have data enabled and u can't use it, the only solution was to format data. I've been w victim of this actually, having access to some items in Q.S is a bonus to me not a bug or security concern as pple are making it up to be.
