Addis-Ababa, Ethiopia (ADV) – Kenya Airways, one of Africa’s leading airlines, is harping over the lion’s share it was taking from the passengers it was transporting across the world from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

In a statement on Wednesday, the outfit said it snatched a record increase of 13 percent of passenger that travelled on board from JKIA in October 2018 alone.

The 13 percent increase is a rise from the figure recorded the same month in 2017 to hit 665,413 passengers.

Affectionately known as KQ, Kenya Airways said that the aircraft movement increased by 3.4 percent to record a movement of 9,604 aircraft over the same period.

The statement explained that the amount of cargo handled during the same period rose by 38 percent to stand at 35,610,423.00 kilograms recorded over the period under review.

KQ’s top foreign destinations by passengers over the period under review from JKIA included Dubai, Amsterdam, Johannesburg, Addis Ababa and Entebbe.

Last week, African Union’s High Representative for Infrastructure Development, Raila Odinga,named Kenya Airways as one of the leading five outfits that were boosting intra African trade true direct flights on the continent.

Odinga said Ethiopia topped the list with 30 flighes follwed by Kenya Airways (28), Morocco (27), South Africa (25) and Nigeria (20)

But the Dakar stopover in West Africa where KQ flies to Europe and the United States still remains a major attraction over the last three decades.

When I was in Port Harcourt, I witnessed a neighbour who had a terrible accident and the medical doctors adviced that his leg had to be amputated. Trust the Ijaw natives of the city, they took the man to a traditional bone setter. I accompanied them, so it's not as if I was told some story. Lo and behold, that man is walking today with his legs very well and he is healthy and sound.
These traditional bone setters work like magic. They use their bare hands to reset, re-adjust and re-allign the bones, muscles, nerves and everything else.

Same way you have the womb setters. When doctors advice women to go for a surgery, they seek the help of these traditional women and these women do the work better than medical doctors.

Yes a third of Tanzania's land is under conservation. I think we can manage our wildlife easily through modern technologies. We will use GMO seeds instead of organic which takes a huge tracts of land,we will encourage the use of skyscrapers in cities to minimize space,also some villagers will leave with wild games.currently our Ngorongoro conservation area have done this.Nothing is impossible.

Only the proud Maasai can live with wild animals.This they do both in Kenya and Tanzania.Maasai do not eat wild game considering it beneath their standards.They eat goats,sheep's and cattle exclusively .This is what saved animals in most Kenya and Tanzania.In game reserves like world famous maasi Mara they live freely with game as opposed to protected game parks.They get to keep large share of tourist fee and hence the motivation to leave animals alone unless those animals start eating domestic animals

The womb setters I know an totally got respect for them. Have seen guys being recommended to visit them by doctors. The bone setters I might have heard about them, not sure but I guess they are awesome. Few Tanzanians speak their tribal languages.Most of us uses our religious names and we use our tribal surnames.What makes us one is Swahili language.It is a taboo for a Tanzanians to speak his tribal language in public,you will be seen as a backward somebody. There is no broadcaster or a print media which uses tribal languages.Almost all Tanzanians understands Swahili.we have Tanzanians who can't speak their tribal languages.I myself am one of them.I don't have the exactly number of that.
So the issue of knowing a tribe of a dude doesn't carry a weight to us.we have more than 127 tribes which makes harder to know the tribe of someone.For those who uses their tribal surnames can be identified although isn't easy since we have many tribes sharing surnames!
