Yours. Getting the ADR is a probability not a certainty.

My people, let me gist you guys about my ECA journey with ICES so far:

Account created, all documents uploaded and payment made by 7th Sep. Got in touch with a contact at my university (in Nigeria) to send transcripts to ICES via email which ICES confirmed they received on 14th Sep.

Then the wait began...after 5 weeks elapsed, I sent an email to ICES for an update, they said they were still reviewing my application. By week 10 (19th Nov), I was already fed up because I was hoping to enter the pool latest 23rd Nov as my current IELTS (L9R9W7.5S7.5) will expire early Dec. I sent another email to ICES requesting for an update, they replied that they can't verify the email that my transcript was sent from even though it had the school's domain (eg. xxxx@uni.com.ng) so I should have the university send the transcript again through the regular email that they normally use. My people, at this point I was very upset because they could have told me about this issue weeks ago but instead they waited until week 10!!

Anyway, I got in touch with my contact at the school, turned out that the mumu guy sent my transcript from his own university account (he is a lecturer at the university) instead of going through the appropriate channel (Deputy Registrar). All because he wanted to chop money for little stress.

My advice to everyone is if you're going through a contact at your university, please confirm that they are going through the right channel to avoid delay. Because these ICES people will just abandon your application if there's any comma. Please learn from my experience.

I am now in the process of getting my transcripts sent via express courier to ICES. Also, I have now written another IELTS on 1st Dec and hopefully the result turns out favourable sad

I'm sorry for the unfortunate delay and inconvenience. People can be difficult if not irresponsible sometimes.
Pray that we get good help when we need one.

u mean ICES doesnt need the WAEC/NECO DETAILS FOR their own evaluation.

and secondly, if i opt for WES at last, am i going to send all my documents in one percel or separately, cos am evaluating 3 document and other documents like a colored copy of my means of identification etc.

thank you very much. am sorry for my many questions, i just need to be sure of what am into. and i still need to make payment for my ielts, so i want to be very conservative.

First of all, you need page 1.
1. No, ICES does not need WAEC/NECO details
2. Probably not.

Ever heard the phrase "penny wise, pound foolish"?

I'm curious, what 3 documents are you evaluating?

Thanks Tojued! I had already prepared my estimated timeline for this EE process, I think God is using this to teach me patience lol

hahahaha I threw my timeline away after I got ADR. I had boldly written 'NO ADR' on the timeline. Was fortunate pre-AOR though, got every single thing on schedule.

Well, may this be your only lesson on patience, I wish you speedy post-AOR processing.

Re @tjbrown's PPR story.

The trend of young, mobile, middle class Nigerians including/especially those already abroad going for Canada Express Entry no be here.

Hong Kong kwa!

From my side, I first heard of EE from a Nigerian in Japan. I know of someone doing Masters in Georgia - country (what is he doing there, sef?) who is planning for EE when he finishes.

Issorai! We will all meet in Canada las las!

In addition, I believe all official email addresses from Nigerian Universities end in "@uni.edu.ng".
Hence, the need to inform any contact we may have that correspondence to ICES should end as stated above.
Just my 2cents.
Yeah! I was wondering why the .com was used

Wow!!! What a long read it was (no thanks to peeps asking already answered questions conspicuously labelled on page 1 angry) having been away for a brief while.

Congratulations to all PPR grabbers, @tjbrown and especially @sting007. I was seriously praying no one would quote the entire post in order to say 'congratulations.'

From Ojota, if you are on the Kudirat Abiola Way side of the road, you would need to cross via the pedestrian bridge to the Ogudu Road side of Ojota.

Ogudu Road shares boundary with the Filling Station in between the two pedestrian bridges and the Biode Motor Park second gate.

Board a 50 naira cab going to Ogudu and drop at Ramat junction(Ogudu G.R.A. Estate gate).
The junction is just after Chicken Republic and opposite Coldstone Creamery when coming from Ojota.

Walk through the gate and down Rahmat crescent to the second turning to your right(Bola Ashiru street).
I believe MOD office building is the last house to your left on Bola Ashiru street sitting on a cornerpiece.

I hope this helps.
Thanks, I am very grateful
