Sorry does this mean I don’t have to do post graduates and I can go straight to masters or are these two the same? A bit confused here. Thank you

You don’t need any diploma course. You can do your masters direct

Post graduate?
purityconfi:

Thank you. Being that I graduated with a second class lower, I was told I have to do post graduate if I’m looking to do masters so I want to know what are the process I have to go through for this and schools to look for relating to this field.

Post graduate?
Yes. I graduated with a 2.2 b.tech in BCH. And was told I can’t do masters with a lower unless I do this.

I’m a 24yr old that just graduated from biochemistry department with a 2.2 and I want to relocate to USA preferably Texas to further my studies. I want to change my field to a course computer science, health or food related. I don’t really have anyone there but I’d like to know more about Travelling and studying there and probably working there too. Thank you
How low is your 2’2?

this statement is 100 percent true.......apart from the fake stamp and statement, another reason why I fled from the agent was the quality of school he promised to get me into.when I asked him if I was going to write GRE(cos I heard its very important),he said there was no need for it that he will look for a very cheap/low standard school,I just looked at him.and smiled.the fact that I'm going to study in USA,while considering my financial status shouldn't make me desperate....I was happy I fled the agent when I came to nairaland and noticed that the quality of school matters alot at the Embassy

right now,the school I got admission into is one of the best 45 public schools, the school gave me a partial tuition waiver and asked me to pay a refundable tuition deposit(if only I get denied a visa) that covers my first year

Once anything is altered, it is no longer original.

This question is too personal for another person to answer for you. What are your life goals? Do you have any academic goal and career plan? If you say yes, then write them down. Use these to guide yourself on the next step to take. If you don't have any career plan yet or you are yet to define a purpose on which your entire life would be built on, please embark on a self-discovery journey and go find yourself first. Once you find yourself, which equal finding your destiny, you'll not need another human to tell you if it is okay for you to study or travel to the U.S; you will decide for yourself whether or not it is right for you. You'll become the captain of your ship! You'll be separated from the crowd of human on Earth's Streets that are moving tho and fro without direction. And life will have a significant meaning to you!

That your sister traveled to the U.S does not mean you must necessarily follow the same path. And if I may ask, how old are you?

Use wes free evaluator to convert it to 4.0

You are fine anyways. I had 2.88/5.0 and when I evaluated using wes, it results into 2.93/4.0

And also, you can get conditional admission with 2.2/4.0

Good day my people. Please I need a link where I can get samples of SOP and résumé.
Please don't refer me to Google as it's giving me nothing.
Thank you in anticipation.

As much as you can provide. It must cover all expenses (in fact, double and more if possible) to stand a better chance.

Honestly,it was fear when all I saw was blue paper and the VO no even put white paper for table. She has stacks of blue paper and no white paper on her table.
She bone face like today nah today.....one small babe.God is in control.

This is one of our challenges. Yours is to get your Visa approved even if the approval paper today was black. Next time, focus on why you are there and not others. It helps you keep away distractions.

Hello House,

Please, I plan on going for a graduate program in the US, however, I finished with 2: 2, 3.16/5.0 to be precise. Please kindly recommend schools with the low tuition rate I could apply for MA/MSc in Economics.

Use usnews.com and navigate through the education section up unto graduate programs and get a comprehensive lost of universities offering economics at graduate level. Read through and pick your choice(s) from there.

Stop being told. Try search for the required information you need. It helps you start mental preparation for graduate school. It also helps overcome the fear of Visa interview cos it will show you did your groundwork well enough.

Why worry yourself? I have seen siblings attend same university without issues. Work on why you want to go study in the US and focus on yourself.

That's probably a reverse psychology used on you. A genuine and confident applicant wouldn't be dettered by the ocean of blues in front of them.

I think you and every other timid applicants should work on your confidence level because that could be a new strategy to separate boys from men and by extension makes their work very easy.
