Hello, yes, we have an online calculator(pricing tool) that can be used to get estimated shipping cost of your items, when using it, you are to fill in all details correctly as the cost you will be getting will be based on what you have provided. We charge based on the chargeable weight i.e the higher between the actual weight and dimensional weight of the items which is the weight it will occupy in the cargo it will be conveyed with. When items are delivered to the warehouse, we take proper measurement(weight and dimensions) of the items and update accordingly.
In a case whereby you have doubts about the measurements, you can request for a reweigh(whereby we retake the measurements of the items and provide you with pictures while this is done), this will be done within 24 working hours.
Also, with our combine and save option, you get to buy more items from different online stores, we consolidate them so you can pay for it to ship as one package.

I bought some item in the us and use their calculator to do the math. the package is 5.5lbs but by the time the package got to their warehouse in us these started calculating by the size of the package which rack it up to a whooping 24 plus lbs. can you imagine? infact their price is more than what the company wanted to charge using UPS. I thought I will be shipping lower with them but I was wrong. I know they will try to explain their bs but time will tell. I have been shipping from China for years now, all the agent I have been using have similar shipping and clearing charge. imagine these charging me close to 55k for something that shouldn't be more than 18k

as me o I am done using your service. let me point out where your trickery is, instead of using the actual weight of the item, you will tend to use higher weight of either what the item weighs or the one resulting from the dimensional measurement. I do a lot of shipping from China air shipment are usually charge in kg. what your item weighs is what you pay and most of the shippers charge around N500 per kg and around N350 per kg for clearance and I am talking about express shipment. as I am talking writing this I have two huge packages coming in from China this week I bet if it were to be from you guys hmmm maybe I will just have to forfeit my packages with you because I doubt if I am not going to run into huge debt after paying your shipping and clearing fee and even adding vat to the whole thing.

I have been using shoptomydoor for a while now and they deliver as mentioned. But in recent times I don't know what's happening my item that was to get to my doorstep since 9th of November is still nowhere to be found. Likewise I can't track the item from the courier company redstar. One more thing the way their charges is been calculated is so unfair. Instead of 21days free storage I got my bill after 14days. They have been acting up with charges and delays, and I have been playing along. But this time, I won't. I bought 2 portable hard disks from WD. Instead of consolidating both, they separated them into different shipments. They then proceeded to slam 2lbs on the 1TB hard disk. And it took series of back and forth before they corrected the value of the 2TB hard disk. Theirs is supposed to be a worry-free shipping experience, but that has never been the case, not even once. Shoptomydoor, consolidate my hard disks, there are no lithium batteries in any of them. "Dimensional weight" is not in play here, where you guys got 2.01lbs(for the 1TB) and 1.04lbs(for the 2TB) from, I wonder.

Shoptomydoor you really need to do better. Your US customer care is nothing to write home about... Last week 7 of my items went AWOL and this took one week to rectify. I called today to enquire about my other items and your US customer care was unprofessional and rude, telling me I didn't send it to the right address when I have over 24 items in your custody. This is the last time I will use your services. All this actual weight and chargeable weight, calculating higher weight than amazon or the manufacturing company has to end. I will take my business elsewhere.

Shoptomydoor sucks... Delivery and logistics is total nonsense.
I did two order with them, the first order came very late after the expected delivery day and the delivery man was even asking me for tfare.. That's sucks.
I regretted the day I got introduced to the system. I shipped a TV( .55" ) with them and they want twice price of the item as air shipping fee so I was forced to use ocean shipping... Which will take 3 months.. And I paid #109,820 for ocean and am to get my package by December 7th and now they are asking to pay $20 additional payment before u get my package. That's additional #7,500 what sort of joke is that??
Have called them and to my surprised was told I MUST PAY and have told them am not paying a dime, I was posted to plateau for my NYSC and I came home cux of this package in order to get it and sell it in order to pay those I borrowed from to pay that #110,000. I don't have the money and they said i won't get my package. Shoptomydoor asking customers to take business risk for them! I paid 3 months ago and nw that I should have my package they started acting .

If you are doing all these household items. I will advise you use myus.com. Cheapest and most efficient. Mall4africa is a fraud. I have not done small items with shop2mydoor, but am about to engage them for shipping some equipment for me when I saw this trend. Am beginning to have doubts especially because of their re-weighing issues.

Can you vouch for any freight forwarder to ship US to Nigeria. Any experience working with Valuehandler or any reputable firm?

"... Thank you for your order. Please come back soon!"

Mon, Dec 01, 2014 - Shoptomydoor email to me:
"....Due to temporary shut down of the cargo clearing section at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, MM2. Your shipments from the US could not be shipped out over the weekend as expected. This was done to avoid backlog at the clearing section."

From fabricating new weights for my items to delays in shipping, the list of the 'bad service issues' with Shoptomydoor is endless.

No one at shoptomydoor seems to be taking my phone calls today so I cant even ask if my items have been shipped.

Most items delivered to the warehouse don't come with their invoices, hence, we estimate the values. However, if the updated values are wrong, you are to upload the invoice in your warehouse immediately for correction.
For weight and dimensions updated, we take inventory when items are delivered, the package is measured and the details are updated. There is bound to be human error(although this is very minimal). However, we have a reweigh option in the warehouse if you doubt the measurement inputted.
We will like to look into this if it hasn't been resolved, please provide your unit/shipment number.

shoptomydoor and their rude attitude i ordered a pair of sneakers in December it was uploaded in my warehouse and later removed because i asked them to discard a mini free sample that was attached to the shipment for me not to incur huge shipping cost. Till date i didnt receive my sneaker

Shoptomydoor just want me to post another issue here with the new agent that seems not to understand ENGLISH. I sent 3laptops to the warehouse and the system automatically updated the price of the laptops to be 50$ and the freight fee was 51.57$(including the duties) and i updated the original invoice which was 40$ assuming the shipment will be reduced via the custom duty so i can pay for the package, in less than 6hrs SHOPTOMYDOOR Updated the invoice and GBAM the shipment turns 75.51%. I email to notify them and one Rukayat called me telling me they cant add to the shipment and we had series of arguement, then I email them to check into it, later thesame Rukayat emailed me the same thing she said like it was practiced...


Still resolving the issue my other package came in and SHOPTOMYDOOR did the worst again, they splitted the package into 2 delivery 38 and delivery 37 and i raise alarm again and all the could give was that the laptop batteries are lithuim... but my surprise is that the package it with the first laptop which i am confused now as the first 3 laptops are also lithuim (since the batteries can be packaged with them) i then requested to speak with Mr Segun or Chizobam or Funmi cus i beleive these three people understand English and also give reasonable explainations...[color=#006600][/color]

Shoptomydoor should work on her customer service team, train and re-train them. that all i have to say and i want the issue to be looked into and package all my laptops in same box so i can pay...

Your company always love it to waste my time when I want to pay... Shipment 38 owns the Batteries you diverted to shipment 37. I bought the laptops and the Batteries together, I only requested the seller to pull out batteries from the laptop to retain power.

So I don't know where your company come about the price for items in shipment 37. Look into it clearly.

Since you seems not to understand English via private mail. Maybe we meet on Nairaland and other social media where you will understand English and do the needful and I finally quite from the inconsistent service of yours.

Package all my laptops together and let me pay and leave your company for good...

Shop to my door has fiinished me. I called their cistomer care before purchasing my camcorder and studio lights from amazon. They gave me their pricing which was affordable as i was combining both items. After shipping the studio lights there was a delay in shipping d camcorder. When the camcorder was about to shipped i contacted shop to my door, they told me that thay have upgraded their website and i should ship to a new address which i did. Now i am ready to ship both items and shoptonydoor is now saying that i cannoy combine both items because they upgraded websites. I reminded them that they told me they could combine both items and that was the reason i agreed to use their services. The lady sacarstically told me to ship my old item before 31st of March as their website will close then. I tweeted at their CEO Nduka, he refused to reply. I could have bought these items from aliexpress but i deciddd to use amazon since there was (what i thought) a relaible shipping company.
This company is run by touts who begin to threaten u when u complain of a contract breach or broken promise from their end. #badexperienceshoptomydoor
