Re: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by Mommdav(f): 1:54pm On Dec 05, 2018
Drink loads of water. Remember to take coconut water. I didn't experience constipation because I started taking my coconut water like four days before, through to about 4days after. In fact, took 2 packs of coconut water and drank water with it while still in the clinic after retrieval. Eat fruits..banana, ripe apples etc. I am not a fan of oranges because of its acidity. Think alkaline when making your choice of food, fruits. Avoid beans for now, too much spice. If you can get magnesium. It very good for constipation.

Hope you get better soon darl. Keep us posted. Fertility blessings.

Hopefully other mamas will add to this.

Do not underestimate the power of coconut water. It has multiple benefits. Good for acid reflux. Do not drink too much water at a time. Drink little at a time. Drinking too much water while eating can sometimes cause acid reflux, indigestion. When eating I drink little water. Always wait till like 45mins to an hour before taking much water.

Pls help me confirm if they do PGD genotype screening. I spent 1.4m(promo)for this cycle, n paying 1.2m(great discount) for d next. Their normal ivf price is about 1.7+ . Nisa is very good with excellent service, but the money no be here...
When is ur ET?. Wish u d very best in this cycle dear.

I didn't use FMC Jabi. And haven't seen much review on it as well.

I am currently using Grabbo Fertility Clinic. It's 600k for one cycle and 1million for 3 cycles.
It's inclusive of drugs.

I read reviews on them before I decided to use them.
They are not bad.

They don't offer PGD testing. It's very big and expensive clinics like Nisa that offer such services.
Yeah, it's really quite pricey so their services should be top notch.
Do you want to change clinic?
My ET is tomorrow.
Praying for a positive outcome.

In my research I came across and chatted with some persons who have used them and were successful.
They are not very professional but they try to get the job done.
They don't do sex selection.
I don't think they have any provision for accommodation for stimming. You will have to make personal arrangement for that.

Good luck in ur ET tomorrow. Are u going freeze ur remaining embies? I know only Nisa does the PGD, though am sure some other clinics would start collaborating with them for it. They started doing it in their clinic just this year too, but were taking the samples abroad before.even Diff does it(abroad too), but when contacted when I was trying a choose clinic, they told me 4m for d screening.,

Thanks Mommdav, am doing both. my Dr said laparoscopy is to check the abdomen, tubes and ovaries for any abnormalities and hysteroscopy is to check inside the uterus. I don't have fibriod but I have small polyp. I used kingswill for the 2 procedures. I used pregnacare conception for more than 3 months before the procedure. Now am on some drugs to boost egg quality. Pls how do I detox?
Mommdav:

Mamas who have undergone laparoscopy should come share your experience please.

Folly12 sorry about the failed procedure. I think you either do hysteroscopy or laparoscopy. Not both at a time. Hysteroscopy is about passing a camera through your vgay to check your womb and the entrance of your tubes, ofcos under anesthesia (they remove anything like fibroids or polyps while doing this - operative or surgical hysteroscopy) . But laparoscopy is a more surgical procedure, in the sence that they cut your belly and pass in the camera. Most people here have done hysteroscopy because most Dr advice you do it before Ivf. In case you have fibroid, polyp or anything that could hinder implantation.

Please make sure you take care of yourself for at least 3 months before undergoing another Ivf. Do a detox, eat healthy, take pregnacare conception and other supplements that could boost your chances. Always seek 2nd opinion please. Do research. Ask questions. If you ask me, I think that Dr should have done or adviced an hyteroscopy before doing a second ivf. Some doctors are just concern about money. If I may ask, which hospital did you use please?

I replied since Sunday but was hidden/deleted by spam bot. Thank God I saved it (once beaten, twice shy)
