Hello,
Is it possible to ask for your appointment date to be moved forward if your enrolment deadline is close.

Withdraw so you don't get a rejection.
Someone I know waited too long after being asked the withdraw. Next thing was rejection.
Since your summer letter is not ready, just withdraw. It changes nothing
What is an extension letter ?

Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by mexzony: 4:10pm On Dec 12, 2018
Anyone know exactly when admission letters will start to be given out since some schools say that their application deadline is on the 15th January. While some 1st December is application deadline.

I'm sure you'll do great!!

I want to personally thank you for your efforts in making sure other persons here get solutions to their problems in one way or the other.

I am not just thanking you solely because of it, but the very fact that you are new here, have taken out time to go through the thread and also deem it necessary to help others with solutions to their problems. Pls keep it up. We need more persons like you. God will surely see you through in your pursuits.

Hello,
Is it possible to ask for your appointment date to be moved forward if your enrolment deadline is close.

Appointment dates are more or less of a scarce commodity. The consulate will advise you cancel within a specified time listed on your letter. And you are not guaranteed of a choice date as well as another appointment.

What you can probably do is to get an enrollment deadline extension from your school so that you will be able to meet up with the time specified for student visa processing.

Hope this helps.

The school you are applying to will most likely tell you how they want their documents to be certified. But if not specific, then it's most likely to be done at the high court.

Take along with you originals of your document for sighting together with photocopies of the documents you intend to certify.

Certification is done at the state and federal high court, notary public, German consulate or embassy.

It all depends on the school. Different strokes for different persons. Different schools with different policies. Just be patient and prayerful. God will make it happen for you.

Hope you applied to several other schools as well. All the very best.

I honestly didn't expect this, I'm humbled.
I've learned a lot these few days I've been here, made friends I'll always remember, I've had people answer questions even when they didn't haven't to. So, the little I can do is share, we will all get to our goals.

Please what do you mean by ''unblocking your account'', can one unblock his account when he gets to Germany?
Adeomam:

Fintiba is cheaper than Xpatrio because the amount you need to block in fintiba is 8640 while for Xpatrio is 8849. I guess that's why most people go for fintiba. but Xpartio is way less stressful than fintiba in terms of unblocking your account.

I will not tell you which one to choose. You have to decide that on your own so go to their website and read thoroughly on their offers, terms, and conditions.

All the best

When you get to Germany, you have to unblock your account so you can have access to your monthly stipend. The money in the blocked account is not meant to stay blocked forever. You need it for your upkeep in Germany, that's why you're blocking it in the first place

Greetings, please can someone still apply for summer semester or all applications are closed till winter?
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by Matt358: 5:27am On Dec 13, 2018
THE blocked account is opened through the german embassy....and you gaz deposit 8000euro(3.3m) inside....it is monitored o....everytime by the embassy and withdrawal of anythin above 600 euro per month is not guaranteed....so german blocked account is not what you will have to borrow money for them to see you have the money....it has to be there.
That was in 2012,please can someone tell me if I can still get the block account just to get the visa and later return it back?
2. I'm i paying for the tuition fee before leaving Nigeria?
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by Mystique20(f): 6:30am On Dec 13, 2018

Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by happystep(m): 7:36am On Dec 13, 2018
If you know who to borrow from do it. However, be ready to work hard and support yourself. You can be paying the person back by instalments as you withdraw your monthly limit. Explain to the person how long it might take you to pay back, if not possible in one instalment. Spread it over the period of your stay in Germany. Many have done, still doing it. Make sure to discuss with the donors the currency of payback. Exchange rate may differ over time like what happened in 2015 and the person suddenly would demand euros not the naira he gave you. Be wise even as you go begging .

Not all the schools pay tuition fees but you will pay semester dues while registering. Choice of school matters
we shall overcome never give up
