if Nigeria was a sane country, a tag-team of Peter Obi and Umma Getso will be given a chance to fix that country in 2019. Nigeria is a big business and only a successful businessman can see what it is for what it really is. first you must have a plan, secondly it must be articulate and finally it should be practical. enough of these empty heads taking the country for a ride. just look at that Galadima nigga.. na wa o 11 Likes 1 Share |

You don't leave your shop to pursue criminal(OBI) This sounds more like an economy_oriented statement. (ECONOMICALLY LOGICAL) If you allow criminals to make away with all the inventories in the shop, there would be no shop to run(PYO) This sounds more like a people-targeted statement. Topmaike007: The more you comment, the more you expose your low IQ. Are you saying that if the USA government truly want to arrest Atiku, they cannot do it till he steps foot on their soil? Again lemme spoon-feed you. We have what is called Interpol. Once someone in Nigeria has been investigated and there is sound proof that this person is guilty of a crime. All the US government needs to do is work with the Nigerian Police to arrest this guilty person and send him to the US for prosecution. If you read my previous comments here on Nairaland, I have never supported the agitation for Biafra. Intact Nnamdi Kanu and his followers are clowns. And same for you too because you have failed to prove that you benefited from attending schools. You can't write meaningful sentences. You have poor grammar. You have a very long way to go, boy! 3 Likes 3 Shares |

There appears to be a new sense of reality Peter Obituary takes home tonight. And that's; A live debate with Prof.Osinbanjo is a steamy kettle of fish different from a prepared speech at a conference center or his regular twitter bluffs. -python2 4 Likes 1 Share |

FINAL SCOREBOARD: ACPN - 33 ANN - 28 APC - 66 PDP - 55 YPP - 43 FINAL COMMENTS: ACPN - Candidate has some ideas but has got a lot of work to do; spoke more in uncertain terms ANN - Candidate lacks ideas; lacks presentation skills APC - Candidates has more clarity of ideas (because he's incumbent); definitely has fantastic pitching/presentation skills PDP - Candidates is well furnished with stats and figures, definitely has fantastic presentation skills. YPP - Candidate is well informed with party's manifesto, bold enough to present with clarity. Thoughts: For most people, the comparison was between APC and PDP; it is only natural that Osinbajo will outwit every other candidate, and the simple reason is that he is currently more informed by incumbency and also a brilliant man. Thanks and goodnight. 17 Likes 1 Share |

Someone came, regurgitated memorized statistics and answered questions off-point most times. Another someone was spontaneous, level-headed and hit the right spots most of the time. Some certain people here on NL, feuled by a certain emotion synonymous to them are just blindly cheering on a certain someone who is only brilliant in their eyes but dog sh*t in reality... I'll leave you now to figure this out. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

While it's easy to fall for the eloquence of Osibanjo's speech, I think he really didn't connect with the average Nigerian on the achievements of his 3yrs in governance and so most of his talks seemed vague despite the fact that his quotes might actually be true. Peter insistence on referencing China was quite good for a while but turned stale as it progressed; likewise the figures which to me is debatable, but it's not that hard to imagine when ordinary citizens wake up the next day and relive the daily struggles of being a Nigerian. He did resonate well with his simple suggestions to solutions as those are readily imaginable in the minds of common Nigerians. Peter slight edged Osibanjo, and his closing remarks was a 6 pointer. PersonallyI expected more from the two prominent men to sell their party manifestos exquisitely but came up a bit short with the responses from both parties most notable in key areas like foreign policy, power, business generation. 4 Likes |

naunasabi: You really need to stop sounding like you went to night school or none at all. In China their legal framework is exclusive of culture. If it were not, then people can hide under culture to perpetrate a lot of vices. However their legal frameworks simply does not encourage corruption or fraudulent persons and the death sentence is swift a d without delay. Likewise Nigeria. Culture and legality are mutually exclusive where the costitution of a nation is concerned. Culture cannot override the law when same culture breaks the law of the land. I repeat, Buhari is doing the right thing. You cannot keep pouring water into a leaking basket of corruption. When will the basket get filled with water? You need to plug the leakages even while pouring the water. Its the water that exposes where the leakages still are. Buhari is not only fighting corruption. He is also revamping the economy alongside and ensuring accountability. Those are the holes in the basket of corruption being plugged. You should have attended a proper school. 2 Likes |
