You that called us fools when we went on strike is complaining. You coward much
i am not complaining. I never complain. I am only stating why I am not driving on taxify at the moment. That wasn't a complain.

What did the strike yield? Nothing.

Because people like you couldn't comply, at least we made them recognize we are the head of there operation, without drivers NO Taxify n Uber.
Taxify was scared so dey explained there reason for the fare decrement.

they weren't scared. The explanation came even before fare reduction. Taxify only realized that they have ignorant blockheads driving for them, hence the need to explain again the fact that less fares = more rides. The same thing uber did last year. Driving on uber and taxify goes beyond the ability to drive a car.

When uber reduced fares last year for the same reason, it was these same set of people that went on strike. Taxify befriended them while making uber look like the bad guys. Now it's their turn and they are stuck with the same ignorant lot.

thats what we keep hearing. But no one has died yet. More drivers are signing up. More partners are buying cars.

Someone posted a statistic of 134000 active uber riders and only 9000 active drivers. Meanwhile. Uber has over 20000 registered drivers. That's uber alone. That is what we should talk about, facts. Not permutations. Dead car dead driver and no partners was the same song being sang last year when uber reduced fares. Why haven't all partners gone underground?

Answer is simple. There are hardworking drivers out there making money for their partners and taking care of the cars they drive. They are not on Nairaland. I know a driver that comes from abeokuta to drive in Lagos and he hasn't defaulted. Don't allow the congregation of lazy complaining Nairaland drivers becloud the truth.

Facts only

Uncle yesterday is gone... Note, break fluid will do normal justice to the damage. Here is wot I am saying, manner of approach, claiming its normal with reckless driving and threatening me. He refuse to pull over, what do you expect me to do? Drag staring with him? Or display drama in the middle of the road? When someone is mean and head on, you show him what you can do and if he pass you, at least you try... But the last thing I'll do is unnecessary noise when there is visitation as option.

But like I said, yesterday is gone, today is another vibe.

but come to think of it, I think you and dru3 are right, no matter what or how much you reduce it to, drivers will always complain, the hardworking drivers are not on nairaland, the drivers should put theirselves on the car owners shoes for a minute, money does not fall from heaven on, a car owner worked hard for months to save up millions in other to acquire a car it will take years to recover his money on Uber oo , ND a driver will just come from nowhere collect ur hard earned car and wants to make same amount with the car owner SMH,,

This is really the season of love.
Can't imagine Uber/taxify unblocking permanently blocked drivers, can't imagine boosted trips all through the day (Uber), can't imagine getting surge almost all through the day, can't imagine giving bonuses after all the freebies(Uber). Oh! Christmas please come every month grin.
I was about closing for the day but this surge on the island has tempted me to continue till the body clock ticks. Lest I forget, today is my first night outside.
