The stigmatizing is less when you are not Igbo. That's why the Osus prefer marrying outside Igbo land.

I agree with you to an extent. But your summation makes it sound as if these rebels are going to bring these changes in no distant time.
Of course nothing lasts forever, not even the Osu Caste System. But people should understand that what the Igbo chiefs did is just a first step that may take at least two more generations before the result can be seen.
