My wife delivered a bouncing baby boy on Wednesday(boxing day) but a friend of mine delivered same sex today it was unfortunately that he lost his wife during labour my question is should I tell my wife about it both of them(ladies) knows each other some months back.

If they were very good friends, give her time to recover from childbirth before breaking the news to her. Telling her now might plunge her into depression.

There is a time for everything, and right now is not the time to tell your wife about such unfortunate event. Give her time to come back home, and then break it to her, if she doesn't already know.

Quite sad. But you shouldn't tell her yet. She needs time to recover fully both physically and mentally from the stress of pregnancy and delivery. Let her find out by herself. You don't want her living in fear, do you?

Women react so emotional to situations like this..considering she just put to bed.I will advice not to even mention at least for now. I remembered when my wife was 8 months pregnant and a female friend of mine died while giving birth.. I had to keep it till about some weeks ago...
