So please docs what do you suggest I do?..

I already discussed photophobia on the Umidigi thread....... The screens bright light is triggering your migraine..... Your only solution is applying a screen or blue filter, when using your phone in dark environments.......

am only 19, will b 20 February. And no, I only experience it when I look at my phone or have a long close view of anything with a screen..

reduce the screen brightness but you should go for an eye exam as there may be an associated refractive error

You don't have to drop your phone at all, just use a bright light filter......

That's not the case, its a Java phone and an android app definitely wouldn't work on it...that's why am thinking of using the physical filter..

i guess you use your phone too much. Plus you watch tv a lot. Am i right?
I used to have something like this when i was little. I watched cartoons all day plus play video games and my eyes used to give me pains plus some serious headaches.
Just reduce the amount of time you spend watching Tv or phone for like a month and you should be okay. Try and sleep too and rest. You can read some Novels if you're bored too.

My phone is the only screen I peep at. And yes a times I do feel normal too.

Am actually always using my phone, even when there's TV ON I don't watch it, I will rather be with my phone.
And. I don't really get to read novels again as I do have alotta books to read in skool..
So what am thinking is to either use my phone less frequently or filter, if it will really be that effective...

Testing your eyes would do your eyes no harm, if anything you get a baseline.......

Nope..... An operation is the best way forward. An IOL is required .... Seek an ophthalmologist, you already got one here in optm (if locally based, might be able to assist)......

you answered rightly. surgery is the only option now for cataract although there's an eyedrop 'can c' that people claims works for cataract in it's early stages. I haven't prescribed it for pt's because it's quite expensive and you'll have to use multiple bottles of the drops to get desired results. I do not have a first hand info on its claimed effectiveness. for the records , I am an optometrist not an ophthalmologist .

I couldn't believe how much light I exposed my eyes to earlier with the phone, the tears and sharp pain I got made me realise its actually was the too much light it emitted...
I will update in the meantime..am most grateful!
