Hello Everyone,

Trust we are all prepared for the 2019 train?

At this point i was just tired!!! After putting so much effort (after using JAY & LIZ writing materials and videos) i could not get above 6.5. I also made a call for Help here ohhh.... but no one offered assistance. Anyways while reading through the tread @Distinct777 mention that he/she used the materials on this site (https://www.ieltsadvantage.com) for writing....

Attempt 5= 15th Dec LRWS 8.5, 9, 7, 7.5 IDP

All praise be to God!!!! It ended in Praise!!!

Awww... I'm happy for you dear sir/ma.
I said it, that guy makes Ielts writing seem like nursery rhymes. And free materials too!

YES figured, I have retracted my statement and given them a more reasonable noc code hopefully it rhymes with their experience.

Please ma. Can I apply for Canadian permanent residence in the UK. I am currently a Tier 4 student.

Since, processing is in London office, is it wise to travel to Nigeria to do it. Cant I apply when I finish studiies.

I will soon receve ITA. Thank you

Hi Guys,

I worked in Burkina Faso from Nov 2012 to Aug 2013 as a project consultant. But I travelled to Lagos in December 2012 and May 2013 for 2 and 3 weeks respectively, therefore I didn't stay in Burkina Faso for 6 months in a row, the longest I stayed in a row was 4 months.

To my surprise, at the point of uploading POST ITA documents, a second field was created for Police Certificate 2. Could this because it is captured under my work experience as working in Burkina Faso from Nov to Aug and can I use LOE to explain this as I don't have PCC for Burkina Faso? All travel dates are captured in my passport.

Any advice will be appreciated. My ITA deadline is fast approaching.

You will have to go to Burkina Faso for PCC, this similar situation happened to a very close friend of mine, who worked in Togo for 8months, his initial application was declined by IRCC because the PCC gotten was not from Togo's Police National Headquarters. He had to travel back to Togo to get the authenticated PCC.

Since you worked there for over 6months, regardless of 2 or 3 weeks leave you had, IRCC might request you get the PCC after you've submitted which might prolong your application process.

Okay, I will contact them. Happy new year guys
Ramj:

They should contact you by raising a CSE to clear al doubts.

It also not impossible it is a clerical or administrative error.

Like i know some one that has done Biometric for over a month and profile has not been updates.

She raised CSE and was told the biometrics has been received.

So contact them

Congratulations. This your post just lifted my spirit.

I recently entered the pool, woke up this morning to see a notification of email. Checked email and saw you are no longer eligible to be in the pool. I don't even understand what happened. I was eligible before and all of a sudden. Killed my spirit but reading this your post, am a little motivated.

Congrats and may all our testimonies be complete.

Happy new year to every one

Happy new year and I congratulations to us all that we made it to a new year.
Myself and my wife had 431 when we joined the pool and anticipated the Express Entry system will recalculate and even increase our score this morning at the strike of 2019 (wifey is the lead applicant and by this January her work experience increased to 3 years) but to our dismay we got a message of “not eligible for express entry” this morning (when we were expecting goodnews of a new score....interesting)
Please I’ld like to know if we should just revoke our application and rejoin the pool.
Cheers to the new year!

I have the same problem here. I have been on 433 with a profile created since January 18th 2018. My score just increased to 439 with the last Ielts result. I woke up to a message that I am ineligible. What's going on Biko. Can't afford to lose my profile date

If you’ve been found not eligible, you will need to create a new profile. An ineligible profile is no longer valid so you can’t change it, even if you have new information.

You will still have to meet the Express Entry requirements that are in place. So, unless you made a mistake in your first profile or your circumstances have changed (for example, you have new language test results, you now have more work experience, etc.), there is a good chance you will be found ineligible again.

You can review the requirements https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/submit-profile.html to see which ones you did not meet. This can help you find what to do to meet the requirements so you can apply again.

maybe POF amount has been increased. I’m aware there is usually an increment every new year. Please check IRCC website to confirm

But this is not the case. The profile has been on for more than 6months expect you are saying this msg is a msg that came in this morning from cic. I only upgraded my ielts scores in August 2018. I checked yesterday and it was eligible.

Well, I am suspecting something is about to be updated or a glitch in the system again. Let's wait a while first because everything is still the same up till now.

Pls anyone that has more insights as to why profile would go from eligible to NOT ELIGIBLE should share.

Proof of funds has not changed on IRCC website.
My ielts was good, ..i am honestly very confused.

The profile ineligibility thingy seems to be global, there are reports on canadavisa for the same thing.

Either it is strategic decision or they have changed program requirements. I think we can only wait and put our ears to the ground.
