A very Good innovation. The ministry of Science and Technology should Look into his invention and get him a patent before his idea gets stolen.
Kudos to the Innovative Nigerian

Innovation?....really? ... and we wonder why we are not moving forward.

If you call this SHIT, then you are the shit. Your likes don't have a place in this world.. No one's personal ambition is worth more than moving nigeria forward. Let Buhari attend to this man

This is all too saddening.

What a lovely and smart invention.
And, what a sad thought that this brain and his invention will quietly fade like the noon dust?

Even if he meets Buhari and co, do they have the depth to fathom how best to take the invention to another level?

The answer is No.
They're thinking of election and re-election.

In Nigeria, governance is all about campaigns and elections.
It's not about making people's lives better by nurturing life changing inventions like this.

Mr Obasanjo, I'm really, truly frank and sorry for you at the same time.

I saw this on one of it's stops at the University of Abuja permanent site. Whoop, didn't know the flight started from Lagos. Nice one!

This is a mockery and not an invention, and we should not be celebrating what qualified as a mediocrity as far back as the 1980s, more so in 2019.

Even a high school project in the developed world would have been better executed.

Don't u get,

In 2019. This is the best from Africa.

That's how one welder will go and join metals together to look like helicopter and said he invented helicopter when he doesn't even understand simple thermodynamics first law.

I saw this piece of thrash at the Apo roundabout. Trust me, photographs make it look good. This contraption is a testament to the lack of innovation and lazy thinking. This thing cannot will will never fly neither is it amphibious. Lastly, if we had a road safety agency, it should not be plying the roads!! Just because you want to innovate doesn’t mean you take us back to the time of Fred Flintstone. Please build upon current technology and stop taking us back.

Get stolen?
Please amphibious cars have been in existence so nothing will be stolen and if that junk in the picture is what he created then he had keep his inve tion to himself

I surprise too how he drove that thing from Lagos to Abuja, especially with the harsh weather conditions.

Still dunno what's celebratory about this, but we're so used to mediocrity and unexpectional run-of-the-mill inventions that any slightest out of place creation is celebrated. Imagine someone saying the govt should fund this and get him a patent! A PATENT for this rubbish!! Who we offend for this part of the world.

He should have travelled by air instead of land, then his 'invention' would be considered one.

Let us be realistic...this is rubbish. He didn't build anything, he only strapped junks together.

Good one, Mr Durojaiye Kehinde Obasanjo.

Bad news is that such a smart inventor and technologist hails from a country where we pay less attention on his likes, but focus and celebrate mediocres like Mr Spells and Instagram twerkers.

See, let me tell you, this is total rubbish invention, he is not smart at all...If this invention really make sense and with the way international media have been alleged to done a documentary on this, Innoson Motors not to talk of General Motors or Volkswagen would have contacted him before now...Abi if you sabi play ball and foreign scout learnt about you, them go wait till your state football sign you before they make a move?...

Once again, this is total Bullshit

Our level of scam in this country no be from here o. I won't be surprised that there are some elements of mental derangement to this. Genius? Maybe. But ingenuity in an unguided environment such as ours can lead to kolomental. Na from frustration e dey start from.

Great idea! It will be so useful in Lagos.

Just imagine that you're leaving VI to Ikeja only to get to Ozumba Mbadiwe and there's heavy traffic.. Change gear, drive into the lagoon to cross over to Ikoyi and link Osborne rd/Third mainland bridge. Traffic at Oworonshoki ...change gear again and fly to Ikeja. cool

Isn't that wonderful? He needs our support truly.
Hahahaha! You're funny.
