I plan to do this once I'm done with Studienkolleg. There's a lot to write about it. I will do that once I'm done. I will be done by April smiley..

But I think I can shortly write about the procedure:

Please note that I'm not on student visa and I did my language course here in Germany from A1 to B2 before applying to Studienkolleg. B2 is better if you intend to attend Studienkolleg cause the entrance exam is B2/C1 Standard. Some Studienkollegs accept B1.

In my opinion B1 is not enough to pass the German entrance exam.

If you have your language certificate that's when you can now apply to any Studienkolleg of your choice. It's good to apply to many so you write multiple entrance exams and maybe you might be lucky to get into one.

You are not allowed to work while in Studienkolleg on student visa. You are only allowed to work during holidays....

Don't expect Studienkolleg to make you to be perfect in German. It doesn't!.
......

someone told me that the Embassy doesn't give out VISAS to those intending to learn the language over there in Germany...that the embassy prefer us learning the language over here in Nigeria...

how true is that

Which Visa did you use to go learn the Language

please I've been thinking on this area, that's coming to Germany to take a language course then after which remain for studienkolleg, from there enter the university. But some bloggers said that language course visa cannot be renewed, that the only way I can do that is after the language course, I'll come back to Nigeria then apply for studienkolleg, then get a student visa which I can convert to residents permit. Please I need understanding in this aspect.

Good morning all
Please I need to know if having different names on some of documents is going to pose any issue for my visa process as I have been scheduled for an interview next week.

My biologically old document has the long form of my surname which is shortened in other documents while in my first school leaving certificate, my middle name has been shortened which is not the case in my other documents.

I need to know if this would be an issue at the embassy. Thanks for your help.

Soothing:
Good job here guys.
Please can I still meet up with summer admission ?
Also in demostrating English proficiency using letter from my undergraduate University, is the letter going be addressed to d institution or to uniassit direct? Because I planned to apply to 2-3 schools through uniassit.

You may still be able to meet up with admission in some schools for Summer but the challenge you may face later on is visa appointment booking. Dates are fast running out and you don't even have admission yet not to talk of visa appointment. You know the goal of an admission offer is to get visa, your time and resources will be a waste if you don't get a date eventually.

My advise is for you to focus more on winter semester as that will afford you sufficient time to prepare.

As we speak, there are people that have summer admissions already but are yet to get an appointment. So just think about it and thread carefully.

There is no specific order in arranging documents for visa interview. It's mostly done according to the way oga Paulinus wants it. so for each original documents make sure you put it's photocopies (two) at the back for easy sorting cos oga paulinus might not be that patient with you and might embarrass you if you are not responding fine.

But funny enough when you get to the interview proper, the visa officer will arrange your documents the way he or she wants. All the same just make sure you are prepared and be very smart enough. Hope you have read some visa interview transcripts from those who just travelled.

All the very best.

I got Scholarship and Tuition deferral already but what is left is still 5000€ per year.

Please does anyone know about this school as well?
Does it worth it spending so much?

Also, how can one source & apply for more scholarship?

My people, happy new year! Please those that successfully funded there blocked account, this is the step u took; open a domiciliary account- buy euro from money changer by going to the bank with the person then transfer from the domiciliary to your sutor bank. My question is how do u convince the changer to make the transfer to your account before collecting the naira equivalent? Also how much did u buy euro per naira ?(I know the rate is not stable, just asking).

I don't think u have any issues with ur interview, for now what's important is the account you already created with fintiba and the proof(fintiba account opening confirmation) you have for that.
When deposit is confirmed you can send the confirmation later via their email. Even after ur interview
So u needn't worry smiley

Well, I believe an affidavit from a court attesting to the fact that it is the same person who bears all these variants of names will fix any issues.

Go with the document you got when you opened the blocked account.

Your funding confirmation can be sent via email after your interview.

I opened a dorm account- bought from aboki - sent the money myself.
Go to tour bank.and open your dorm account there. It's safer
