Naira as no money value in any possible way. U just have some money with you, you go out and buy some stuff, before you know it all the money as finish! It's pathetic! 3k dolls is 1.2m naw. Can u imagine! 10k dolls that was 1m some few years back o. Nigeria is such a useless place to be. I need to leave this place to better my life. There is nothing here! The highest denomination note does not even have any money value to me bcus u can do much with it. Its sad to be in a country like this. I must leave this country for any European country in the next few years! Spits* I'm out! 1 Like 1 Share |

why won't it be useless when you use it to carry harlots day and night? money is only as useful/useless as its owner. the money you're complaining for is the same money people are using to make millions more. idiot.

Plot twist : Nigerians who earn in dollars or work remotely enjoy 100% investment without doing anything lol what a country. |

pcguru1:Do you earn in dollar? Now how many Nigerians earn in dollar? |
Re: Naira Currency Is So Useless! by Nobody: 11:40pm On Jan 03, 2019 |
TheManofTomorrow: Indirectly, but I do some stuff and get paid in dollars but to be honest it's not easy because getting paid in dollars as a Nigerian is hard esp with no PayPal , am a software engineer so I have friends who stay in Nigeria and work for foreign companies, I do the same except that my employer is the middle man compared to remote workers. It's much more rampant in the tech scene than you might imagine. |
Re: Naira Currency Is So Useless! by TheManofTomorrow(m): 11:56pm On Jan 03, 2019 |
pcguru1:I just realized you're a tech person. My bad. Software developers who knows their onions really do earn in dollars. Free ur little expository above, I can deduce that you freelance well as a software developers. Why dont you get PayPal or payoneer and get things kicking real hard? |
Re: Naira Currency Is So Useless! by Nobody: 12:11am On Jan 04, 2019 |
TheManofTomorrow: 1. Fraudulent reputation of Nigeria, most people won't even answer you once you mention Nigeria 2.Paypal Nigeria can't receive cash 3. Most freelance agency have their payout tied to mostly Paypal 4.Payooneer is good but only upwork uses it as far as I know It's not hard but the freelance gig economy is now getting extremely underpriced, so am looking at having services that makes much more sense than freelance. I intend to document things and share with people. You will be surprised what the internet can bring. Info na key mehn 1 Like |

pcguru1:So help you God. Exactly why some people open freelance account using US or other saner climes identity. Wouldn't blame em too much. Nigeria's reputation as a country is really bleeped up. Working for oneself is cool if one can pull through and stay focused I would say. Just like Nairaland, I'm sure SEUN will be reaping tenfolds of what any freelance agency can offer him. A solution he provided. Thatz why I agree with the bolded. I'm an health student(Pharmacy precisely) and I starter learning HTML and CSS last year December. Will advance hopefully soon to JS. I already have a project and a solution to provide to d health industry. All I need now is the wherewithal. If one succeeds in providing a solution, money will flow in. Lots of em |

TheManofTomorrow: You can apply to Andela, I work there as a senior consultant, JavaScript is simple and both hard, you can learn the language (basic construct) in weeks, but the intricate part such as how JavaScript works and Objects etc. All the best |

pcguru1:I made my findings about this and I don't meet all the criteria. Its an annual program right? They require someone who is done with NYSC. Hopefully I can apply when I am done with school if the programs still runs. Thanks for the info |
