I get that this is your way of encouraging people but each person's journey with their self esteem will be different, it's an individual battle and there are so many different factors that influence a person's self value, it's an oversimplification to 'blanketly' tell people that they're the problem. To every problem there is a root / cause knowing the root/ cause is the first step in solving a problem. I believe since getting attention/approval from people is the main reason why people bleach, then it right to say lack of self esteem/value/ love is the reason for bleaching. I stand to be corrected though.

Yes, we are all wired differently hence different reactions to unpalatable situations, I should have considered that and probably not stated the cause only but also solutions which may include working on one's mind and esteem.
We are all here to learn.

I use palmer cocoa butter when i noticed that i was having toned skin. I stopped shapperly. My skin was fresh but knuckles color deeper than skin, when i take pix my knuckles comes out black like someone bleaching. How many people will i explain to that i am not bleaching. I ported to raw coconut oil and i lie not dark glowing skin is what i have with not dark knuckles, everything rhyme well well.

To maintain light skin na die....if I spend too much time in the sun like this na burnt face/neck...my skin looks like that of a woman,the thing no like stress at all. A dermatologist once told me I should have been born a woman cuz of my skin..but I must hustle or hunger go kill me for house so I must comot and hustle... U think I will buy such different products like ur sister?? I dey craze?? Make the skin dark na...when e don taya..e go exfoliate and become fair again....

I understand where you're coming from, not everytime wallow in self pity and live by other people's validation, especially to the point where you aren't 'living' and potentially putting yourself at some kind of risk e.g medical issues

Getting approval from people and a lack of self esteem are definitely chief reasons, point is that sometimes you can't help it, e.g. in a society where most people are conditioned to view a certain standard of beauty as the 'ideal', when you don't meet those standards I can't blame you for feeling a sense of inadequacy, it's important not to let it rule over your life sha but I get why they'd be affected
