Also i came across someone that said they bought a basseus cable. I have it too. Mine is 2metres long and is probably the best value item I ever got from aliexpress. I got it in about 3 weeks
It's remaining my 64gb memory card and screen guards that they don't want to deliver to me since then. Smh

I have known Alibaba to be damn cheap when it comes to stuffs like this. But as their custom is, their MOQ (minimum order quantity) is always very high; like 100pcs per order.

But if you are ordering for something like apparels, you can even see prices starting at $1 each. But MOQ will be about 1000pcs.

There is a trick behind it though if you want just 1 piece, don't know if it still works; you tell the supplier you would like to order in bulk but first, you need a sample.

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Yohh: 8:14am On Jan 06, 2019
Guys, I ordered my phone on Nov 23 and shipped Nov 29 which was 39 days ago. The phone has still never reached Nigeria.
What will be d implication if I open dispute now and not wait for 60 days after shipping?

There is no guaranteed way to avoid it ma, one can just be hopeful.

You can use express shipping though, it will cost you much more but you are sure to avoid custom charges.

I read in an earlier page here that custom isn't supposed to charge a good unless it is worth $500 and above. How true is that?

You can not open the dispute now, your dispute will be thrown out before you type letter D.

You'd have to wait for the buyer's protection to be over but pretty sure the phone will be here before then. You still have 21days to go.

So express shipping doesn't attract custom fee.
Why please?

Untrue because the new directive kicked in last year, a friend of mine was billed 8k on a note 5 last week. Just be hopeful.

Because they don't go through alixpress shipping as they have their own shippers.
