Crazy operation! You invaded a newspaper office because you suspected they are siding terrorists. Where did their so called public relation guys school? Have they investigated how their information leaked? This is why its counterproductive to appoint people sensitive positions on nepotistic ground. Kai Nigeria. |

UncleJudax: You are clearly bereft of normal reasoning capabilities. National security is the sole responsibility of the President and he has the right to take unilateral decisions in this regard. In USA the FBI and CIA often act outside the boundaries of the rule of law for the sake of the national security. Its like you saying, Shekau as a person deserves bail when caught so if the courts grant him bail, it must be honoured in the name of rule of law. Or you saying Osama Bin Laden should have been captured and not killed because he has the right to live under the rule of law. Think right so you can talk right |

Hhhmmm....my guys you've acted dumb and unprofessional. You guys fall my hands big time but can't blame you because when you serve under a tyrant either as uniform personnel or civilian you will definitely act as a tyrant one way or the other. I expect the army to do all things possible to identify who leaked the information to the newspaper company first before making any move. The editors are not millitary so how do they get such secret millitary information and released them to the public Army pls on these particular issue you fall my hand I must be honest. |

Guide777: If they did not arrest those who leaked the information how would they be able to investigate and get the source who leaked it to them? Or you think the source will just present himself to the army and say I did it? Make una dey try use una brain small |

The Army is sooo wrong, toooo wrong! They have now made Daily Trust to gain the sympathy of the people for leaking sensitive information that could seriously impact the security of the nation. They(Army) shouldn't have gone this way at all. You do not kill your child for trying to sell your house. If the Army had gone the civilized way, they could have even sued Daily Trust for treason. |

This is comical nothing 'classified' about the released information and the military doesn't have legal powers to invade one's office not even the police has such as they would need a search warrant from a court of competent jurisdiction |
Re: Why We Invade Daily Trust Newspaper Offices - Nigerian Army (Press Statement) by Nobody: 7:45am On Jan 07, 2019 |
Randy100:so how best to find the leaker if not to get the editor name his or her source? |
