It's his choice. I saw somebody who left Public Administration in 300 level to study law. I also know somebody who left Microbiology in 300 level to study Medicine. I first studied a biological science course, and one of our classmates left us in year 1 to study medicine. I have also seen people in their late 30's and early 40's going back to study medicine. That of law is widely known. So, i don't want to mention that. That's their choices.

Pls, encourage the guy. He has made his choice, and he will never regret it. I just want to advise him to work harder and pray too.

No course is better than the other, it all boils down to individual choice, that's finding what one loves doing..

If am passionate about pharmacy and someone else is studying medicine because of peer pressure or parents enforcement,..
Me that is studying pharmacy will make exploit compared to the other guy.
Vice versa.

My opinion though..

U wont believe that I initially applied for medicine but was given pharmacy, not because my score was bad (Pharmacy cut off is almost as high as that of medicine, it's just a rule of not giving a second choicer medicine and law) .

So I had to accept the course and reapply for medicine the next year.

PS:pharmacy is a nice course

The both are good, my boss mandey was kind enough to answer u with nice reasons nd yet u went ahead to still torment with bold letters asking which one is better..

Now draw closer, open ur ears with ur lower limb..

The both courses are professional.. It depends on what uve dreamt and want to become, if u ask which one is better of the other the third time, then i'll conclude that u are the ego kind of person hence, the reason u re asking before choosing one of these career path.

Now, between "spoon" and "fork" which one is better..?
grin

It depends on what u want to eat ryt??

If u go ahead and say, eventhough it depends on what u want to eat, spoon still has a wide range of use than fork, it then means argument dey hungry u...and i will fight you grin grin

Hello, Guys. I have a B.Sc degree in Chemistry and thinking about a possible direct entry into MBBS this year or early next year. My question is what are the JAMB subject combinations? I also need to know at least 3 universities with the fastest MBBS programme in Nigeria and a bit about the Direct entry process. I would really appreciate any contributing views.

Boss if you're talking about fastest, You have UNIzik, UNN, UNIlorin, UNImaid and Udusok...

Happy New Year medics. Permission to dare to open my mouth(fingers) to speak(type).

We just created a group on WhatsApp exclusively for NEWLY ADMITTED MEDICS, i.e., 2018/2019 freshers accross all institutions.

The idea is to create a level platform for everyone to share experiences, ideas, rub minds, materials, etc. along the way, understand what's being done in other Colleges so as to not be limited to the 'four walls' of individuals' institutions alone.

It is not for undue comparison or competition, but to challenge and keep you on your toes, understand how others are tackling similar challenges in other places......

Too much talk, sorry. I'm sure you get the idea.

So, please, if you're a 2018/2019 FRESH MEDIC, just resuming 100L, and are interested, you can mail me or Chukwukapromise and you'll be added to the group. It's started already, and it's growing, and we want to keep it alive till, by God's grace, we take the 'OATH'....and maybe beyond.....).

Medicine has always been my choice right from childhood. As i said earlier, it depends on what you like. A pharmacist told me he has never liked medicine, and pharmacy was his choice in UTME.

It's 6 years now. It was more than that before, but right now it's 6 years. The Vice Chancellor is a U.S. trained medical doctor and also the former Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State. So, he's seriously interested in the Faculty of Medicine of EBSU.
