Also when creating ur site try to make it user flexible such that visitors can post comments without necessarily using their email account... Anonymous comments should be supported. This will enable everyone to drop comments easily without registration nor logging into Gmail accounts... shouldn't be considered at all for the sake of monetization that's if you're thinking of something big and unique..

If I may ask, what happened to all the writers who left nairaland to create their own site? They all fade away and we must not forget that other peeps like @youngzubi can easily copy and paste the story at their own site and facebook to gather likes and comments generate money without actually referring their fans to @centino website. I believe peeps clamouring for @centino to leave here have a sinister motive.

Remember.. Maya trusts Ndifreke. U could read/see her reactions when her mom made that first accusations on Ndifreke. Maya, herself may even have a hand in this self.. anyway, we go soon know.

I just hope Centino understands my sincere intention, only if you guys can encourage him and stop giving him thousands of reasons that he would fail like others. Go and read success stories even that of se*un then you l'll know that great achievement comes with determination. U said that i should go and create my own site and start making money ... Only if you know my ambition u won't say that... I gat a long-goal that i'm currently pursuing,just that naija nobi am.

Centino stands good chance of gaining tremendous traffic in his site that's why i suggested that he'd go open his own site since he's being paid nothing for writing here....think positively brothers.

"Borrow your characters" means permission to write a different story using your characters, i.e. fanfiction (but you probably knew that already). Re-post the story and credit you, fine, excellent in fact; but fanfiction on works that original author is yet to reap adequately from is not advisable. What happens if the fanfiction gains a higher following and commercial value? Would the fan accept to concede some of the financial returns to you? What if he/she outrightly refuses? On the flip side, what if it turns readers away from your original works? Such situations are the reason even established authors are totally against fanfiction.

Look, I know how it all sounds, but I'd advise you think it through before you okay this one. Just my 2 cents.

This is true. I'm flattered by all these thoughts but believe me I've not thought of anything else since Sunday. Earlier in this journey I made myself clear enough why I was doing this. At the right time I will do what I need to do.
