I would have recommended Diamond, if not for the current situation of things. Diamond bank was a very good & customer friendly bank. I honestly trusted them so much with my money and you can withdraw to the last kobo, which I know students like. Also receiving money from abroad is very easy through Diamond and their online and cards transactions are bae.
I am still very saddened they failed. I will close my account there, I don want the access bank thing.

Whatever you do, stay away from Eco & Sterling bank. Thank me later. You can checkout Zenith

I am sha thinking of opening a account with stanbic IBTC, though I have other banks i'm using.

Please I need your honest opinions on which bank you believe is the best bank for a student in a Nigerian university.

I already have an account with GT Bank but they don't have a branch inside school and I really need a second bank account mainly to help me more in saving money.

So please, which bank should I go for?

How Old are you?.... . Don't you know we have different personnel representing various banks here... Do you expect them to speak ill of their companies , when they've seen avenue to market their products ?
U will soon get sense, by the time you are served with the confusion you requested.

Hello...

Diamond bank did not fail. Their merger with Access bank is a strategic plan to birth Africa's largest bank.

Take this from me: Diamond bank is not distressed and a giant has been born!

This is between UBA and GTB

never use heritage bank.... they can frustrate you eh.

first bank is off the list cos of d congestion and network issues sometimes. But not UBA or GTB. Access seems good too

If not for the long time wasting because of too much customers, I would have said GTB is the best Student Customer friendly Bank. But so far I think Union Bank win my vote with their different Vibes account for any category of Student and their mobile banking app is also superb.

Any bank you choose don't try first bank. They will limit your withdrawal to 20k per day and force you to pay 200 for every counter withdrawal.

GtBank is way to go depending on your location.

That is your own fault, not First Bank's fault. You chose the wrong product. You can upgrade your account by submitting required documents.
Counter withdrawal charges are also your fault. Why did you forget your withdrawal booklet?
