Good day Oga Gazzuzz, I can't operate my car AC because of too much dust in the vents. I have cleaned the filter but to no avail. Is there a way for flushing the system? Thank you.

I really need to get my Kazeem Rewire arrested. I just got a 03 Camry Tokunbo. I went to their workshop for oil change all. He advised me to remove the thermostat that it’s not good, since I’m not using the car in America or Europe where they have cool weather. I told him, I’ll get back to him on that. I dropped the car there for the oil change.

To my surprise, I just noticed he by pass the fan. He put a relay or something. I called him immediately I noticed, he claimed he didn’t remove the thermostats but he just put relay. Once the ignition is on the both fans are running. I no send him work Oo..

Gurus,
what effect those this have on my car ?
Can it be return to factory settings ?
Should I leave it like that and move on ?

Please I’ll appreciate your suggestions.

Oga go use total 20w50 because e good for our weather" Mr man do the needful and stop asking questions which you already know the answers.

Check if you still have a functioning air flow sensor

Thanks for your response. I took it for diagnosis and was asked to change the plugs. Had to buy new plugs, new nozzles, new fuel pump and changed oil. The car is moving fine now, but I still have to change the air box (where the air filter is), because the clips are broken so there seems to be a leakage of air through the air filter. If I step on the gas pedal, it's makes a deep noise like the exhaust pipe is broken which the panel confirmed its OK.

My car was having exactly the same issue through this week until i found the culprit today. One of the tyres was too heavy. Changed the tyre and everything became normal. You can try to check your tyres too.

@Gazzuzz please this morning when I started my car, the check engine sign came on.

I checked all the fluids and nothing seems to be wrong. I just did a general car servicing last week. Please what could be the problem?

Just to add, the Rewire guy had to fix my right trafficator bulb that wasn't showing on the dashboard yesterday and he removed the dashboard. Could he have tampered with something?

only a scan can reveal.

The connections from the engine harness to the engine ecu are pretty direct and removing the dashboard will not contribute to a P code. However there might be B codes if the job was not done well.

car a/c issues are often not very easy to fix remotely. This is because apart from the symptoms, there are no values to work with.

With the right amount of refrigerant the a/c system should work fine, but a change in any of the following will cause symptoms you just mentioned.

* malfunctioning cooling fans

* excessive or over fill of refrigerant

* blocked condenser (externally and internally)

* defective compressor

* poorly welded piping

* defective expansion valve

* defective dryer receiver.

What is very common in this part of the world is a defective compressor.
