Hi, I just flashed back to some memories while on campus as a single lady. I was single from 100 level to 500 level and started a relationship a few weeks before leaving campus. During my earlier years in school, I was less bothered about being in a relationship or not but as my final year was approaching, it then dawned on me that I would soon leave campus as a single lady.
That was when I fastened my belt and tried some funny ways. I started going for night classes to read and probably get noticed by guys as I haven't been going out the previous years. It was fun as guys started approaching but frustrating when they weren't what I was looking for.
At a point, I gave up and was like 'what will be will be'.
Let's share some of the funny things we did while single on campus. Thanks.

Tried my hands on a few failed and partially successful business ventures. They were all fun!

One time, after 500L, I left my laptop in the power electronics lab. Shortly after, the guy with the only key to the lab left before I returned to pick up my PC, sometime around 9pm. Already, I'd purchased a bus ticket back to Lagos from Nsukka for the next day.

Now, as a responsible student and a respectable student ambassador, I trekked all the way to the PG Hostel looking for the man with the lab key. Unfortunately, halfway to Odili hall, my phone died And I didn't know this guy's room number.

But I continued my journey because the incurable optimist in me kept whispering - 'maybe, just maybe when you get to the hall, you'll find your guy sitting in front of the hall or somewhere along the hallway, or watching television in the cafeteria'. Well I must have checked all those locations no less than 3 times. Man was nowhere to be seen!

Then I got desperate!

In my 5 awesome years of UNI. This was the night I embraced the roar of my inner devils. And like a flash from the blue, I heard a voice say, 'Go back and do whatever you must to get your laptop out of that lab'

With each step back to the lab, my desperation grew.

Immediately I reached EE department, standing right in front of Power Electronics lab, I noticed the wide glass partitions above the door of the lab. Now the only way into the lab was to reach above the door, open the glass partition, jump into a lecturer's office and use a door that opened into the Power Electronics lab.

I've never had more adrenaline in my whole life than when I did all of the above that night. Retrieved my PC and went back to my lodge at 11:55pm. Laughed all the way back knowing that I nearly compromised 5 years of hard-work and sufferhead.

I slept with my best friend's girlfriend. They were having issues at the time n i went to visit the girl in her new hostel because she left where she was squatting which was close to our hostel(me n my guy live in the same hostel but different rooms).
So I went to visit the girl in the evening. We gisted till 10 pm,we were also enjoying each others company. As I wan go the girl said that I should sleep over, that was afraid of sleeping alone.I said okay.No sooner had we gone to sleep than the girl shouted that something bit her back....I jumped up,she jumped up n before u know it we were kissing passionately. The rest,as they say,is history.
