About taking or not taking milk after CS, I think it depends on your doctor. I had my baby in a general hospital so every patient in the ward with her own doctor. The woman beside my bed was told not to take milk till she's told to do so. she was suprised when she saw me takaing tea with milk. I was so scared with the look on her face, she said I have to be cleared before including milk in my diet. But I later asked my doctor when he came for check up, he said I can take milk no problem.

Bottom line is, please follow your doctor's advice

lol.. warming malt for u to drink? you really tried but its always advised that all your drinkables are warm. thank God you are fine and everything is ok now you can take whatever you deem fit. God bless your household too lovely mama.
If you warm the malt, wetin you gain inside.
Room temperature is ok.
If you can add echinacea tea,red raspberry tea,it helps.
No strong food,is good., sleep Wella so body can recover, avoid wetness,on the stitches.

@PraisesG Thanks @Giddyperson please I think you should go for the ring just use plenty olive oil so that the ring won't get stuck on his peepee by 3/4 days it should fall off by itself and then use penicillin so the wound can heal fast, I heard the traditional own they will wash wash and wash and it disturbs the baby the ring method the baby is only cranky when she want to pee and you don't make the pampers tight that's all.

Get Wellkid or Reload for them

Please don't switch until after 12 months, the journey is not far again, God will give you grace for the remaining few weeks

Happy birthday in advance to our February aburos

you mean you have been taking Lipton tea? When I had my son, I discovered that whenever I take it, there will be little or no milk for my baby to suck that day. So I stopped. Didn't try it with my daughter..

Also, pertaining to the milk issue, it will be nice if u follow your Dr's advice. They all have their reason.
Like my sis, she followed up until she was giving the go ahead.

Then, warm drinks like water, pap etc help the tummy to go back to shape on time and it heals faster.
I've taken it only twice under duress. Twas only when I was in the hospital I was told not to take it. Nothing was said about what to eat n what not when I was discharged. I'd find out from my doc when I go to the hospital. Thank you mama

Hello mums, hope you all had a productive day?
Please oo mums who still have kids in creche or have once had kids in creche, is it normal for kids to come home like everyother day with one scratch or the other on the face? In a week, my son can have his face scratched like twice. I have complained tire, the excuse is “they are mostly boys and they play rough, bla bla bla”.
I know kids’ nails grow long easily but i try to cut my son’s nails as often as possible.
They usually list about 2 kids who always have long nails in the creche and i have said severally that on Fridays they can remind parents to cut their kids’ nails before a new week.
I hope i am not overreacting on this issue, it is a frequent occurence and that is why i am bringing it here.

My ds had milk several hours after birth cause I wasn't lactating well and this is to avoid jaundice which was explained by the midwife.

I had same experience with my daughter last month, she stopped eating after treating malaria, she was surviving on breast, water and cheeseballs.I took her back to the hospital to complain, we did a Wbc on her again and she had malaria. since we finished treatment last week, she has been eating well and I noticed was bringing out a set of teeth
You can test them again for malaria, check for teeth.

If it were me I would take my child out of that creche before they tell stories that touch the Soul one day, allowing them scratch each other shows they are usually left unsupervised... on another thought " what if the scratch is from a wicked minder" ?. I'm just saying oooo

It's not normal, complain to the proprietress or whoever supervises the creche people. If nothing is still done about it, take your child out of there please. GB once came home with a scratch, hubby started from the car park to rake for the innocent teacher that was picking up the kids cheesy, even me sef felt bad for them when he was done but it never happened again.

I was told not to take it while at the hospital, I can't remember the exact reason. My sis in law still said I shouldn't take it until 8weeks post delivery, I'm 4weeks PD and really want to include it in my diet but need to be sure. I don't even know if Yogurt is included cos I've taken that like thrice.

I was told not to take milk just incase it gave me gas/made me bloated a few days following the surgery cos you’re supposed to avoid anything that would put stress on your digestive system. Tried to take milk about 3 weeks later but it seriously affected DD. I tried a couple of times again and noticed whenever I take milk she will spit up so much you’ll think she threw up and she will have explosive poop that will require change of clothes and sometimes a thorough bath (TMI - and the poop was watery and mucusy) so I had to cut milk from my diet. Egg affects her too but not so much, she would only have mild spit up

RE: Diet after CS.

It's best to ask and then follow your doctors instructions. There should be no hard and fast rule . Pros and Cons will likely be dictated by type and site of incision you had, pre-existing medical condition (If any) and type of stitch you had.

Ask and follow your doctors Instructions. Life no get duplicate.

Thank you. Now i know my anger is not out of place. Like thrice now, he has hit his face on objects that have made the side of his eye swollen with green patches and all i got was sorry.
They will definitely be hearing from me on Monday regarding this issue and it will be the last time i will address it.

Thank you. The scratches are sometimes small and you can see its from the nails of a child, it can appear on 2 different spots of the face, so i know it’s another child scratching mine.
This is the last time i will address it sha.
