Pharaoh350s: You just implemented Catholic Church. If terrorism is associated to Muslim countries, Hindu/Buddha,,, Chinese martial act films. Pentecostals,,,,sex and immoral acts, then Catholic is associated with demonic, horror, occultism, darkness, witchcraft and horrible dark idols. |

TechCapon: Many of the themes are drawn from true life experiences. For instance, Stigmata and many exorcism based horror movies were influenced by the true life story of Anna Elisabeth "Anneliese" Michel. Another reason may be the mystery surrounding the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church seems like a perfect location for horror movies. The exorcisms, the beliefs that the church is evil, the belief that a pope would be the Antichrist, etcetera, makes it quite easy to write a horror story around the Catholic Church. |

It is only the Catholic Church that teaches exorcism to its seminarians (priests to be undergoing training) So by default, a Catholic priest is also an exorcist. Another point I'd that the catholic mass has exorcism rites in it. If you have noticed, most of the successful exorcisms performed in the world are done by Catholic priests. |

theapeman4: "They don't progress in life"? Lol. I don't even know where to start replying you from. It's a tough job. Then "demonic procession"? Wow. Before I begin, the last thing I'd do is take any Pentecostal serious. Why should I? The same churches that made fun of the Catholic church in the 70s/80s about our communion, saying it was demonic, but today offer communion under the guise of "Holy Communion Service". You have extraordinarily dull leaders. Men who don't know anything. Men who can't understand Christian Eschatology. Men who fleece you by deceiving you that God can only bless you when you give Him, and employ all sorts of blackmail to rid you of your earnings. Men who don't understand theology. Men who can't explain Christian philosophy. I tell you, you're being led by very dull individuals. Now, the issue of "Catholics who don't progress". My my. Ever attended a Catholic fundraising? Or a Bazaar? You know how much it costs to build a Catholic church and furnish it with the right vessels and stuff? It's costing, and it all gets done by the people within a very short time. But I should be careful. When you say "progress", I don't understand the context it is being used. Do you mean in riches? That is a big fail. I could give you names of thousands of people to check with a healthy networth. Or do you mean in their studies? Family life? What exactly do you mean by progress? I have seen people come to the Catholic church at their lowest, and within months, years, you begin to see an increase. What other progress are you referring to? "Demonic processions". Because at Paln Sunday, we take to the streets with palms after the manner of the Jews thousands of years ago welcoming Jesus into Jerusalem? Is that your definition of demonic? Or because in the last Sunday in November, we have a procession where we profess to the world that Christ is the King? Is that a crime? The problem is you Pentecostals are too timid and unnecessarily shy. Catholics are not scared to profess their faith in whatever manner, by whatever means. We don't just believe in praying for hours and all that. We let the world know that Christianity has a lot to offer, and that Christ is truly King.. The issue with Mary, and worshipping of saints is something I won't address here. It's not something I can convince you otherwise of. I've been in that argument with lots of people. They never manage to get my point. My advice? Attend a Catholic church and see things for yourself. Pick up a copy of the Catholic Doctrine for Cathecism, talk to a priest. Don't be scared to ask him any question at all. I assure you you'd get your answer. I can't possibly see what someone with a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, and another one in Theology, with years of education and training would be scared of. Engage a priest. You won't be disappointed. 4 Likes |

Hoodbilonia: You shouldn't make up lies to pass your point. One most notable feature about a Catholic church is that the Windows and doors are always open, except at night when they lock it. And again it depends on the location of the church. The reason why it's always open is so that someone can walk in at anytime and pray. And the issue of "no Bible" is just stupid. I have never seen any priest who has discouraged people not to come with Bibles. In fact, on the contrary, it is advisable because during mass, the priest makes mention of other passages not in the reading for that day. Being a Catholic has increased my knowledge of the Bible, I must say. Especially of the New Testament. Some passages are just stuck in my head. You should stop lying. You hate the Catholic church (because people generally hate what they don't understand), that's fine. But don't be spreading lies and rubbish about the church. 1 Like |

herich:Listen young man, the occultic kingdom, witchcraft and demons ,are having there Target on Catholic church it's the origin( main symbol) of christianity ,remember that an adage said ,"if you want to fall a house ,first shake the foundation" as well as strike the shepherd and the sheep will scatter , If they succeed in bringing Catholic Church down ,then other churches is a workover for them , them too have discovered that when they bring a minor church down ,it's members won't quit rather they run back to there mother church Catholic ,and thats why Catholic kept on multipling . 2 Likes |
