You don't need to insult her

I wasn't insulting her bro. I'm just expecting her to do better by thinking her questions through. Chances are that she has the answer already.

'Thinking' shouldn't be stressful.

Others can contribute too

I recently applied via uniassist into the University of wuppertal, despite having a 2:1 ,I was told my credential didn't meet up with the standard "Since your credentials do not meet the general
standard, we have to contact the Central Office for Foreign Education (Zentralstelle für
ausländisches Bildungswesen - ZaB). The guidelines for university entrance qualification
in Germany are set by this authority. We will inform you about the result of our enquiry as
soon as possible. As we cannot estimate how long this process will take, we kindly ask
you for your patience"
I really need help on what to do
Deustchemann:
As copied from the first page on this thread

Most of the schools in Germany are tuition free even for international students, you only get to pay a certain amount as semester fees say between 100-400 euros and most times the semester fee comes with a semester ticket to aid in transportation in your city or town.
However, before you're granted a student visa, you have to prove that you can take care of your living expenses with one of the following means ;
1. Block account: The estimated living expenses for a student in a month is 720euros, when you multiply that by 12 months, you get 8640euros. This is the amount you're required to block in an already opened account with either Deutsch bank, Fintiba or Xpatrio. It is called a block account because you will not be able to withdraw everything at once, only 720euros will be released to you every month.
2. Sponsorship letter: If you have a relative living and working legally in Germany, they can get you this letter. They'll have to visit the alien office in their city and will be required to provide some documents and pay a certain fee. The letter will be sent to you when they receive it so that you can go with it for your visa interview.
3. Scholarship: This is usually the best if you have the scholarship, your visa will be granted in under 2 weeks after interview. So try and look for scholarships you can apply to.

Yes, it should be ticked.

As regards the Testimonial, we are in thesame shoe. I just checked previous posts though and discovered we can use testimonial in place of primary school certificate.

Hope this helps.

modupejay:
Hey guy, currently filling the visa application form. There is a place where its stated that you don't plan on staying for longer than 12 months and that's the length of visa you are applying for. Please, should that be ticked as my stay is for like 18 months (student)

Also, can a primary school testimonial go in place of a primary school leaving certificate??

Urgent answers please

Please if I may ask, how long after this, on an average, can one expect the visa?
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by Chizzy4God: 1:05am On Jan 16, 2019
Is all this people that are applying for winter, they don't want to read. A lot of people outside they in Germany are tired of even coming here to help.

Imagine this kind of question.

1. I want to go Germany please how can I go about it.
2. I graduated from computer science someone should help me list all the school i will apply to.
3. I decided to go to Germany for my master, hope their is job in Germany.
4. I want a school that don't pay school fees in Germany. please someone should help me out.
5. Should i certify my document before applying for school.
6.please which document am I suppose to certify. List them for me.
7. Please how can i get my transcript.
8. Please which school that accept letter of English language proficiency. Any help
9. Which job that pay well in Germany.
10. What is pm.
11. What is block account.
12. I have 1.8 million . how can I go about this. Any advice.
13. How much do they pay in Germany for those who are working they.
14. I want to travel to Germany, but my uncle said I should go to Canada. Please any advice. Etc

When I started reading last year August from people that travel this past winter 2018, even previous people. All their question was very matured. And their is answer to every question. I noticed that people read and read and read before asking important question. But now when you tell someone to read, a lot of new people will started insulting the person for saying that.

Note : when you read
1. You will get to know all the requirements for your application, secondly you can be able to see a lot of people who are already studying that course you want to apply to. You can ask your question even direct to them and they will reply you. Also when you get admission they can help you when you get they.
But you will not know them if you don't go through the past post and read.

2. Reading will motivate you a lot in processing your application and also visa. It will make you to see a lot of mistake people have make before and correct it.

Example: someone said last week that he went and certify his original certificate, imagine this can of mistake. Now the original document has been tempered. If that person read the previous post here. He will not make that kind of mistake.

3. You can see a lot of schools and courses that is not in daad that is relate to the course that you want to apply. You will see those people that apply previously, how they discuss about it.

4. Going to Germany, you need to organize yourself, is not about negga or guy. Is not about rush. Read and know how you suppose to arrange and package your document.

READ and stop sending people pm

Chriswazo:

So what exactly is ur point? Haven't you noticed the declining rate of answers given even from those in Germany, simply because the questions d see are continually repeated and no one likes to repeat himself forever.
I am not against questions asked, I ask too and answer the few I know, but some u read and pissed with like someone asking you how to go about raising block money etc?
We need more of interview transcripts, Germany experiences and tips as much as we need relevant questions or confusing issues asked.

Kenechill:

I disagree with you. So people should lose admissions because of being considerate
A lot of people lost winter admission last year cos their school didn't extend the deadline. Imagine if they had booked in anticipation.

Life generally is survival of the fittest. The embassy people that made these online booking available did it for situations like this. So you won't need an admission letter to actually book. Saves a lot people the pain of losing admission.
They provided the option of email for those who already have admission. U can use that my dear smiley
But saying people are inconsiderate is unfair

I wonder who you are trying to favor
over 80% of German student applicants are on NL. This is like a father teaching "survival of the fittest mentality within his own family".
This what Mystique20 and some of us are trying to correct.
Last winter application was messed up for some people. I had Admission letter in June, applied for interview the following day but i was given interview date 3 months after.

Let us be orderly please, "NA WE WE".

flouxpar:

Please if I may ask, how long after this, on an average, can one expect the visa?

My advice to those of us who have multiple admission letter is to have your interview with admission letter of schools in smaller towns. Visa processing in some big cities takes very long time. E.g Dresden is 6 months, Hamburg is 3 months.
my 1 cent advice sha.

It's very unfortunate a good number of peeps here are after what they can get from this thread. Asking personal questions all for their consumptions. Sending different persons PM all for their personal stuffs. Asking both relevant and irrelevant annoying questions.

I want to ask the summer applicants, where are your interview transcripts, where are your contributions in lifting off weights of confusion from newbies. Didn't you read from the previous sets before you how they gladly threw in their transcripts and contributions and timely advice. Is it all about what you can get from the system.

Some of you are already asking when you are to receive the golden mail ie AM and when you are going to get your visas. I am not saying you shouldn't ask either, but my point is what have you contributed so far so good. Is it all about give me, give me, give me. what have you done to help that sister or brother who apparently appears so confused and dejected.

When you read previous post before you probably emerged, you will see wonderful contributions from people. For example, someone brought the information about emirates airline student promo for Nigerian students and how to go about it, which of course benefited so many people. Someone also came up with Turkish airline discounts being cheaper for peeps travelling to the hinterland such as Berlin, Hamburg, Bremen etc and even Frankfort as well. Some other persons also came up ideas on how to unravel issues as it relates to travel insurance. Some other persons came up with suggestions on how to search for accommodation.

I know some of you will insult me in your minds or vocally after reading this, while some will be busy justifying their actions, massaging their personal ego, insulting people and branding people with negative image. But you know what I honestly don't give a damn about your opinions or whatever you think about me.

Someone rightly said the Indians and Chinese have gone steps ahead of us cos they helped in uplifting one another, sharing information with each other and giving out valuable tips, of course they also worked individually too. Where are we going as a nation with this type of mind sets.

Selfish tendencies have taken our sense of reasoning and be cloud our sense of judgement as well.

Abeg help me ask that brother or sister over there #whoyouhelp. The way I dey see this group of folks once una enter DE no more message from you again, not even to come do small bureau de change for uniassist hopefuls.

This is new year for crying out loud. Please lets adjust ourselves, give up old attitudes and reach out to many. God will surely bless the works of your hands and bring them to manifestation.

I sign out now. AM will fall on you all with blistering speed, and your visas will not be denied.

God bless you all.

Totally on point. I'm very new here no doubt though read up on all parts from the beginning and felt it's good to be a part of this.
Me thinks this forum shouldn't even be a fighting forum or name calling and all that stuff.
Quite very frankly, information I've gathered here, I don't think encyclopedia is even better sef.
Also, I've seen a lot of post advising that we read. Trust me, YOU GOT TO READ. PLEASE REEEAAAADDDD!!!
I wish I can shout it. You will sure gain a lot and I'm not saying there won't still be questions, but you will surely be a step ahead after reading.
Whether you are yet to apply like me, whether you are already in the process, whether you have done your interview and waiting AM, or whether you are even already in Germany, I wish everyone of us the very best in life as we carry on with our stuff.
Good morning and have a lovely day.
By the way, if interested, MSc Computational Engineering at Ruhr University needs no uniassist, no VPD, probably just a letter from your school that your study was in English is about the key thing there. New folks like me, let's keep searching. Some schools are open for winter already.

When did you apply? What your undergrad course? And what's ur intended course of study? Coz my friend applied since November and got response that her application has been sent to the university. She is a graduate of business administration with a 2.1 and she applied for international economics and policy. She is still waiting for the university decison.
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by Godspride12: 8:47am On Jan 16, 2019
Good day guys. Sometimes we should be considerate when some people ask questions here. To me no question is stupid. It just depends on the person answering it. That you've passed a stage doesn't mean that people should not reiterate questions about that particular thing again.

First, when someone asks questions here try to put yourself in the person's condition and try to imagine what will necessitate the question even after being answered. For instance, Imagine someone having an interview in a few days and he bumped into this thread today. You don't expect him to go through the Part 1 - 5 of this thread and read all messages to get a quick answer to continue his processes. Repeating answers at intervals would even help for quick solutions to the problem. If you don't want to help you keep your replies instead of making the person look stupid from the replies he gets. It scares some people away and further relevant questions wouldn't be asked.

Again, to those asking questions too, you can get a quick answer by typing keywords about your problem in google and including "nairaland". If you are just starting the processes then try to go through the thread because you'll avoid problems and mistakes of your predecessors.

Finally, I commend the lady that addressed the issue of booking for a visa without admission letter. It shows that not all Nigerians are about "Me first then other citizens sort yourself out" To those doing this, they even end up not canceling the visa appointment and makes that slot free for that day without anybody taking it.
