You have HND finance and going for another HND in finance.... does it make sense to you?
More like going for an OND in Finance.

It’s arguably easier and with a shorter timeline to get a fiancé visa than the options after you get married. So be patient (don’t rush to do any type of ceremony) and research the K1 visa.

Silent Reader, First interview. My visa was delayed today at Lagos.

My transcript:

VO: Why are you going to the USA?

ME: I'm going for my masters degree in Economics

VO: Why Economics

ME: While doing statistics as an undergraduate course, during that time I did econometrics 1 and 2 as a departmental course which is a branch of Economics I developed an interest for the theoretical part of its financials. Ever since it has been something I'm very passionate about.

VO: Why California State University LA

ME: The economics department of CSULA has a research area that most interest me and can benefit Nigeria if well detected. Which is international macroeconomics and currency crises.

VO: What will the course do for you?

ME: I will be exposed to devaluation and revaluation which is the adjustment in the value of a country currency in relation to other countries currency, and this devaluation is what Nigeria has been facing for the past few years I see this as a major gap in the country's economy which needs to be bridged.

VO: who's sponsoring you?

ME: My dad

VO: pass his bank statement

ME: I obliged

VO: Checked my I-20 and my bank statement... was calculating.... opened the last page was calculating (For my mind oga gimme visa jare the thing meet up). All of a sudden the guy just started shaking head for all of his family in the United States. Sorry, you're not eligible yen yen yen

PS: 15million+ is the closing balance and the esitmates on my I-20 is 13million, Is it the fact that it's as if I want to empty my dad's account for the study that causes the denial or what. The school resumes on 22, I'm planning to collect a letter of extension of resumption date as I'm planning to re-apply. The school doesn't accept an admission deferral.

Please let me know what you guys thing about this so that it will be considered while going to the embassy the second time.

But u would agree with me that the denial rate is now very high. I knw a lot of people who used to renew b1 b2 seamlessly. Almost all of them have been denied Via 221g. For no reason. I just feel Trump has a part to play in this. Like a stricter measure is now in place. My opinion though. Would explain my interview soon.

Had my interview today. To be honest with you all ehn. I cannot comprehend all I said to get the white paper. It was like something else assumed me. I'm saying because I can't give a transcript and I know I learnt a lot from reading people's transcript.

It was my first time though.
It was an MBA program with focus on financial management and investment.
Lincoln university California is the school.

But my advice is simple. Know well about the course you are going for. Please don't cram.

Thank you nairalanders.. You groomed me!!!
Kindly provide the transcript Boss.

Please i need advise. I got denied F1 visa on the 18th of Dec last year. The interview was going well until the VO asked for my english proficiency test. Told him i had 7 in ielts although i had a waiver from the school due to the fact that my bSc was done in english language. Unfortunately he asked for the evidence of all the english proficiency test i told him i didnt have it with me. As a result i was denied. I tried again on the 2nd of January this year the VO asked me what has changed explained to her that i have the english results and letter from d school. Madam just asked me names of the school i had applied to told her the 3 school. She asked y i chose the school told her all the story of being the best school for my course public admin. Told her they are highly ranked generally blah blah. Anyways she denied me.
The issue now is i need to renew my b1 b2 visa which expired in dec 2018. I don't want to school in the USA again. Please advise me should i go ahead and apply mid year for vacation or just forget them for this year. Reason is i need to also get a visiting visa to Canada and i hear usa refusal sometimes affect them. Hence the reason for wanting to get a b1 b2 renewal. I would do my masters in Lagos maybe. Please note i didnt have any issues with funding at all at d interview

Please my people afternoon all. How do my daughter apply for physical assistant? She is in final year in university studying food science and wants to study medicine abroad. How do she go about it? I ask because I am confused about this prerequisite course before the main course. Help a sister. Thanks for ur love
I'm guessing she wants to use the food science to apply. Not all U.S. medical schools accept international students. According to 2014 AAMC data, 62 medical schools stated they would accept international students' applications. Do not put in all your energy into seeking admission abroad as it might distract you from that which you have right now. To start with, can you give more details about yourself in terms of what level you are at the moment and an idea of bad transcript if it is at High School or University level?

Wat r chances of an HND holder in banking n finance goin for an associate degree at a US college majoring in Finance. Appointment date 18th January... class start date 04-02-2018

Associate degree? Not a good one because an Associate is almost same as your OND, so put yourself in the VO's position and think about it properly. Why not try get into a graduate program?
