Update on ARM Discoveryfund: I was told that register took 2 week to confirm my signature and i was suppose to be paid yesterday, i called this morning and they told me they don't have the price to pay me for the units am redeeming that they only have price from 4th of January or so. Please anyone had any luck redeeming through ARM discovery fund. The worst service i have ever received and please DO NOT INVEST IN THEIR AGGRESSIVE FUND.

This is now the third week battling ARM for a token amount to redeem. I have now asked for my accounts to be closed but still they won't send me forms to close down my account.

Dividend is not paid regularly.
The last payment was in December 2017.
However, the value of your investment increases with time.

What do you mean by divided is not paid regularly?

Interest in their Abacus MMF accumulates daily and they reinvest the accumulated interest automatically every quarter. They reinvest my interest on Jan 1st 2019 as at the last count.

And don't be undermine them because the interest is reinvested quarterly o, because that their quarterly reinvest still ends up giving me more total interest compare to IBTC who claim reinvest interest weekly.

I have been with both for more than 6 months, so i know what i am saying.

This is not as you see it, I had spoken with a representative of Afrinvest and their interest displayed is not same as how MMF interest are being calculated. You need to contact them for a better understanding as your interest is based on the difference between your entry and closing price.

Yes there is FBN EDGE app download it. however you pay charges if you are using it. what i do is: simply transfer to the given account number and send them mail showing evidence of fund transfer and the will credit your fund account. They have different accounts for their different funds. send mail to them requesting for the account of the fund you are interested in

No, it's Abacus MMF I have with them.

How is the rate of their Vantage Guaranteed Income Fund.

I've wondered the same thing. I checked thier site and both VGIF and abacus, according to them, offer capital preservation, however the former seem to have better rates. But Abacus seems to be more popular

I suspect it has to do with the proportion allocated to fixed securities or equities. Unlike stanbic, they don't give a detailed breakdown of the percentage that will go into the various instruments.

I'll appreciate the view of other investors

Currently over 15%, it has been kinda consistent over the years to be honest.
